Your favorite blockbuster flicks and esteemed artists deserve more, and the Klipsch Gallery G-28 LCRS speaker is here to give them just that. Best of all, it meets the needs of your favorite soundtracks when utilized as a left, right, center or surround speaker.

  • newegg Elegant design Designed with modern décor in mind, the Klipsch Gallery G-28 occupies minimal space. The elegant, injection molded polymer cabinet has a front baffle that curves to the rear on both sides to create both a highly aesthetic appearance and a solid, low-resonant structure. The detailed, twelve-step cabinet finishing process achieves a sleek, high-quality piano black high gloss luster that perfectly blends into any interior setting. Wall-mounted, keeps wiring flush with the back of the speaker for perfect surface alignment…on its base maintains a clean, uncluttered appearance from front to back.
  • newegg TRACTRIX HORN Exclusive Klipsch technology with a refined 90° x 90° dispersion pattern expands the prime listening area and improves dynamics, increases soundstage dimension and produces pinpoint imaging for an enhanced listening experience. The symmetrical horn dispersion pattern allows placement of the speakers vertically or horizontally, on its included glass base or mounted on a wall, and covers all dimensions of a typical listening area.
  • newegg TITANIUM TWEETER WITH LINEAR TRAVEL SUSPENSION (LTS) Combined with the Tractrix Horn, the one-inch, solid-formed, very lightweight metallic diaphragm works in conjunction with a precise phasing plug at the horn throat to create a highly efficient driver with excellent transient response and lack of distortion. The new Linear Travel Suspension assures the most precise diaphragm excursion, increasing high-frequency detail and smoothness.
  • newegg WOOFERS COMBINED WITH DUAL PASSIVE RADIATORS Dual woofers with light, yet very stiff diaphragms combine with large motor structures to perform as active bass drivers. Dual passive bass drivers add even deeper, very clean, musical bass.
  • newegg UNIQUE FRAMELESS, ACOUSTICALLY INVISIBLE GRILLE With the thinnest grille ever to come from Klipsch (one-half the thickness of a credit card), the sound is equally detailed with the grille on or off. With it off, the high gloss appearance and fine lines of the speaker are preserved due to the lack of visible fasteners on the speaker baffle made capable by a unique magnetic grille rod attachment.
  • newegg Flexible placement The dark tint glass base allows flexible vertical or horizontal speaker placement on stands, tables or shelves and provides an elegant contrast to the high gloss speaker.

4 out of 5 eggscomplementary components

Pros: Excellent tweeters.

Cons: A fuller mid-range would make the G-28 a great center channel speaker.

Other Thoughts: I was able to create very good stereo sound by pairing the left and right G-28's with bookshelf speakers, the Klipsch KB-15, to fill in the mid-range and bass using the receivers bi-amp mode in a 5.1 configuration instead of 7.1. These 2 speakers complement each other perfectly. This combination sounds great for both stereo music and surround sound movies.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for wall mounted speakers.

Pros: I made a 7.1 set with G-28 LCR and G-12 surround and back with a Sub-10 all from NewEgg and connected to a Sony 1030 receiver. The center channel is weak and needed +6dB for clear dialogue. That is likely caused by the receiver. They sound better when wall mounted than on the included stands - which are very nice quality but should not be used.
The build quality overall is impressive but not worth the list price. The molded horn is good but not as good as a floor standing speaker in the same price range.

Cons: Even with the passive radiators and ported enclosure, the 3" speakers don't have any low end but do blend well with a sub above 100Hz. I left the LCR set up as full range on the receiver for occasional use without the sub. They do have a little bass extension when wall mounted.

Other Thoughts: These allow good theater sound were there isn't room for floor standing speakers. Playing music would require a carefully matched sub.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat speakers

Pros: These speakers sound amazing for how thin they are. I have a set of Klipsch Synergy towers before, and these blow them away. I wall mounted them and they are just as thin as my brand new LG 55" tv on its mount. I kept the sub from my previous set up. Great value at the sale price.

Cons: Need subwoofer for sure. Not much low end at all, but what do you expect from 3.5" speakers. Expsensive when not on sale.

Other Thoughts: They have been on sale here at New egg twice since I purchased mine, so I would wait until they are on sale. At the full price I might choose something else.

5 out of 5 eggsBeutiful design and great sound

Pros: Very easy to mount on wall. Absolutely beautifull highs. They don't have a very big mid range but still sounds really good when my sub is shut off. So If you are a audiophile minimalist these are the speaker.

Cons: None, completely happy.

Other Thoughts: I have a 375 watt harmon kardon receiver driving my current G-28 with and i'm using it as a center channel. I have a 12" 500 watt sub, hit's pretty hard. My tv is wall mounted so is the center channel. I just orderded 2 more for front L/R sides. I consider myself to be a electronic geek and I'm telling you I crank these to Tech house music and it sounds like candy for your ears. Probably do some G-16 speakers for the rears, Oh yeah your friends will be jelous!
