- Pros: The system has 3 GBs of ram and a good CPU. Vista runs great on it and all the extras make it worth having, like the tv tuner, remote, media center, ect.
- Cons: Hp has too much junk loaded on the system to start off with, bogs the cpu down. The CPU wasn't very as fast as most people thought it would be. My Dual FX system scores 600 Points higher in 3dmark05. The video on the system sucks for gaming, to play any games you should upgrade to a 8600 at very least to view the CPUs true colors.
- Other Thoughts: Great system for an office, great for AutoCAD and programs in that realm. It's and OK gaming system, but to game you should upgrade the video card and drop all the junk that hp installs on it.
Wow, wow, wow, wow...
- Pros: Price, Quad-Core, PCI Express 16x, 8GB Max Ram, everthing is just beautiful. Would have expected to easily spend 2,000+ dolars for something like this.
- Cons: PSU is a little weak, but then again, it isnt hard to fix, and you still save a butload of money. HP's techincal support is exactly spectacular, but i dont really need them to begin with.
- Other Thoughts: Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow. and GET IT! Media Drive is a bit useless thou, bought a 500GB Media HDD and treat it like annother HDD. Installed a Nvidia 8500GT Graphics card and got a 500 watt PSU, 22" HP Monitor, Logitech 5.1 Speakers. Brings a tear to my eye. FEAR, C.O.D., Halo 2 Vista, Anything I throw at it it laughs at. Working on getting annother 5GB RAM and a HD DVD Drive. Then this thing will be perfect.
Decent
- Pros: The Q6600 proc is very stable and runs ice cold even with the stock heatsink. Case is good looking from the outside. Pricewise a very good buy!
- Cons: Inside tis case is a tangle of wires, very nasty. HP support is terrible.
