Pros: I was not able to come close to these specs when building out part by part. excellent value, unbeatable price/performance at this level. has a mini-PCIe slot for wifi or what not.

Cons: case is very small. no room for additional internal drives (though the mobo does have an eSATA port ready to go). more seriously- the PCIe x16 slot is located at the far upper edge of the board and there is no clearance for taller cooling and extremely limited ventilation. even low power half height GT220s would exceed 100c and i tried passive and active cooling models. both cards burnt out. I eventually moved the innards to a new case (NZXT ftw). mini PICe slot does not support mSATA as far as I can tell.

Other Thoughts: If left alone and used with integrated video, this little machine is awesome. any attempts to upgrade it are doomed to failure.

Pros: I don't think that you can get anything better for this price right now. I am not really a gamer, but I use drafting and photo editing software which works well.

Cons: If you know what are you getting, you will not be disappointed.

Other Thoughts: If u are a gamer, you might consider upgrading with low profile graphic card

Cons: product doesnt work out of box.. problems with monitor display.. will be retuning product unfortunatly

Other Thoughts: : I had a small issue to start and contacted Gateway support. They were helpful and were able to help me get everything set perfectly.
- I went ahead and added a ATI Radeon HD 5570 graphics card!
- I also installed a brand new Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 Half Height Mini PCIe wireless N card!
I installed it into the open slot inside the case. All that was needed was obviously the card and some internal WiFi antennas. The PC reconized it immediately and I installed the drivers from the included Intel CD that came with the card and it works perfectly. Of note: there is no screw points so it is not screwd in but it sits in the PCIe slot just fine without it.

I also ordered a Lite-On BLu-Ray drive as well and upgraded the RAM to 8GB DDR3 1333MHz! This thing FLIES now! Only thing left on the to-do-list is to replace the hard drive with a faster one and I'll be done (the hard drive in there is fine, I would just like to get a faster one).

Pros: Alright! This is very small, and well, silent! The Core 2 Quad version is older, but quad core is nice to have. I upgraded from and old 2.4GHz Pentium 4, Im amazed. Not really a gamer, I just play combat arms, so its perfect! Havent thought of a new GPU YET.

Cons: Wish it was i5 750 or any i7. Hrmph. No matter, though!

Other Thoughts: Get this is you just need a new PC, and oh, the Intel X4500 aint bad, You'll enjoy this little thing!

Pros: Received the machine in two days. Set-up was a snap. Very quiet and fast machine. I use it for Microsoft Office and browsing. Not a gamer. I was leery buying a machine via the net, but I'm very satisfied.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Not much bloat where to remove.

Pros: to many to say i3 processor 6 ddr-3 memory, 1tb hd compact upgradeable still. lean mean super fast p.c. machine !

Cons: smaller case per full sizes.

Pros: Fine machine for just about everything, except heavy gaming.
Relatively easy to upgrade graphics w/ half height card.

Cons: Depending on your needs, SX2800-07 may be better and cheaper.

Other Thoughts: I considered the SX2840-01 and the SX2800-07 before choosing the SX2840. The SX2840 has a larger HD (1TB vs. 640MB), and more RAM (6GB vs. 4GB). SX2840 also has a newer processor, i3 530, that uses 32nm technology and is more energy efficient. SX2800's older processor, Core 2 Quad Q8300, however, is more powerful (PassMark of 3563 vs. i3 530's 2663). If you value CPU speed over energy usage, amount of RAM, and HD size, then SX2800 may be a better choice for you.

I upgraded my SX2840 w/ a Sapphre Radeon HD4550 card. I chose it because it is fanless. My Windows Experience Index was 4.9 (Aero) and 5.3 (Gaming) before the upgrade. After the upgrade, I got 4.7 (Aero) and 6.1 (Gaming). What a surprise that the Aero score actually went down by 0.2. On hindsight, I probably should have gone for Radeon HD4650 and just live with the slight fan noise. HD4650 has a PassMark of 457 vs. HD4550's 358.

Pros: This was supposed to be the PC that officially killed my PC gaming, after 15+ years and three self-built rigs, two kids, blah, blah. Oh no, this lil' puppy can keep up quite nicely, espcially after installing the Sappire 4650 low profile card (thx to the reviewer below for suggesting it!). COD4, L4D with High settings play just fine.

This PC is fast, quiet, small...unlike me after 15yrs of marriage, two kids, home brewing, etc.

Cons: Bloatware is easy to remove, so really a non-issue.
No complaints really, well done Gateway.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is wonderful, she is my mistress.

Pros: This PC is the finest on the market today. It lives up to the reviews and more. I ripped videos for my IPOD using Nero Recode, played music files using Windows Media Player, and had intense queries running in Microsoft Access 2007, and it had 90% of its computing capacity left!! I was not a fan of Windows Vista, but Windows 7 is a pleasant upgrade. I like the effortless switching from application to application, as well as other simplicites that were annoying in Vista.

Cons: 64 bit is a drawback. I had to replace some applications and change to new applications in some instances. DVD43 DOES NOT RUN ON 64 BIT. DVDFab is a worthly replacement.

Other Thoughts: Absolutely the best PC investment I have made in 10 years.
