Great Machine
- Pros: I believe this is the current "sweet spot" machine on Newegg for gamers between everything that iBuypower & Cyberpower offer. In a perfect world, I'd have a Q9300 w/ the dual 8800GTS cards, but currently those are only available w/ 1 9800GTX & the 9800GTX is just an 8800GTS clocked a bit faster. I'd rather have the dual 8800GTS's, hence my choice. Everything worked and booted straight out of the box.
- Cons: The memory and sound are the only real weak points with this system. I've gone ahead and ordered better memory for this machine (from Newegg) and I just took my sound card out of my last computer and put it in this one. The keyboard and mouse are both base line Logitech, but they could be a lot worse. I'm using my previous mouse & keyboard so this isn't a sour point for me.
- Other Thoughts: If you price out everything that comes in this rig individually, you'll come to about $200.00-$300.00 higher than the price tag Newegg is offering it at & that is without any instant discounts. I'm unable to find a better deal than this and am really pleased with the level of quality of the machine itself. It even came with the latest drivers installed. If you look up iBuypower or Cyberpower online or do searches, you'll come up with a lot of hits about people having issues with receiving DOA's and poor customer service from these companys. All of these are folks who ordered directly from the iBuypower & Cyberpower sites. I don't need technical support. I just needed to know that I could RMA a dead box & Newegg is top-of-the-line in those regards.
Money well spent
- Pros: Worked straight out the box. Got it in 3 days after acutal purchase online (from NJ to NY). One thing I like about this is that the case comes with a LCD panel that tells you how hot your computer is running. I played CSS in full graphics and got a whopping 120-150 FPS in a regular game server. If you like to play MMORPGs like myself then you would be glad to see everything in full graphics and have either none or miniscule FPS dip rates no matter how instense things got. Played World of Warcraft in full and got a steady 40-60 FPS in the busiest sections of the game. I have yet to play new games like Bioshock, Crysis, and World in conflict. I looked up their requirements and saw they only require half of what this nasty machine has inside. If your looking for a computer that handles and new and old games like clockwork this is the computer for you. I can see using this computer for another 2 years before I acutally have to replace some of the parts.
- Cons: Only thing i can think of is the BRIGHT red neon stick at the base of the computer. I placed it on my right side of the desk and at the conor or my eye I can see the red neon glowing. Of course this can be solved by simply moving the computer to the left side of my desk. Other than that I can not think of one.
- Other Thoughts: Shipment was really fast. Although the memory seems to hold back the machine with standard 3GB of memory and max capacity at 8GB it doesnt seem to fit with the rest of the machine. So I just ordered some 2GB memory sticks.

- Pros: im happy i spent a little bit more and got the intel 2 quad with dual 8800 nvidia cards.im still learning about pcs and i play alot of games. now ive been opened up to a larger variety of games that not just play but get the full benefits of the game.plus vista so you cant go all that wrong
- Cons: no real cons but would love to know how to fully make use of the all the options on this guy. so i guess an instuction manual would be nice
