Awesome computer
- Pros: Awesome computer. Runs fast, quiet, and the spec for the price are almost unbelievable. I was a little worried but my wife has an iBUYPOWER comp that is awesome. I do a lot of work and gaming on it. Runs WoW at the highest settings with ZERO lag and also runs Aion (beta) at the highest settings with zero lag. I can alt+tab and run any applications at the same time, this thing is a beast!
- Cons: Nothing really... the only thing I get a little annoyed by is the microsoft package that makes you put in all the CD keys when you use the first time.
- Other Thoughts: Great comp, you can't beat it.
Good computer; mediocre experience
- Pros: Excellent computer, really great value for the power/performance. Vista is smooth as butter with 8GB of RAM.
- Cons: Shipped with damaged video card, ibuypower replaced with a much larger model that obscures 2 additional PCI ports. Irritating as I wanted to install a wireless adapter. Hard drive initially not connected to power supply, I had to guess what was going wrong (I bought pre-built because I'm not savvy enough to build my own, so wasn't expecting to have to connect parts)
- Other Thoughts: No issues with newegg or the computer itself, it runs beautifully if noisily (but I'm used to quieter laptops, this is my first desktop in quite awhile).
Somewhat disappointed with ibuypower experience but the hardware is solid.
So Far So Good
- Pros: Strong gaming computer
4890 8gb ram huge HDD Mouse is surprisingly quite good with a button on it that doubles sensitivity with one press. Performs well in online games. Runs crysis on all very high, and 8x AA very smoothly with only a slowdown briefly in large areas where I turned AA down to 4x at 1920x1080 display.
- Cons: -Somewhat noisy I suppose, but it doesn't bother me at all just my dad because our old comp made no noise.
-Keyboard is not that good, but its not as bad as the other review stated in my opinion, I'm still using it till I get another keyboard. -Windows vista: not really a con for the comp though -No speakers, but I just used old ones.
- Other Thoughts: For some reason everything downclocks when not under load. To fix this change your power plan under control panel and select "performance" my phenom II was constantly 800mhz but now its locked at 3.01ghz.
I'll write a followup review if something goes wrong or something happens down the road
Overall excellent, fast shipping and beautiful 5/5
