5 out of 5 eggsWon't disappoint

Pros: The only reason I started looking at gaming rigs to begin with is a friend of mine asked if I could build him a computer to save some money. When I asked his price range and he told me 2k I was like, wow, if I was going to spend that much I bet I could find a system good enough to not even bother building my own...... Sure enough I look on Newegg and another iBuybpower PC catches my eye. (I've owned 2 in the past)
This thing doesn't disappoint, everything is as advertised, no bloatware, fast load times... couldn't ask for more at this price, seriously.

Cons: Some might put the size as a con, but I've been dealing with gaming PC's for awhile now and for building... bigger is better (In my opinion :P). Anyways other than that there was a loose screw inside it when it arrived. Nothing major. One thing that could be troublesome later is the small size of the motherboard, one of the pci slots is entirely covered up by the 580, so putting in a network adapter (Killer 2100) and a sound card was a very tight fit, and gives less options for upgrading/SLI.

Other Thoughts: Overall this PC is one of the best choices I've made in quite some time. Turns out that friend that wanted me to build him a rig decided to just wait for now and not get a PC..... You snooze you lose, this computer is almost as cheap as buying those parts separately and building it yourself. If you're considering a PC in this price range.... do yourself a favor.

5 out of 5 eggsEverything as advertised

Pros: I am extremely happy with ordering this system from newegg. Very nice components and everything worked right out of the box. From older games to the newest, this computers runs them seamlessly. From all the different systems that I have ordered online over the years (I gave up building my own boxes years ago), I am the most pleased with this computer. Very good value for great performance. I concur with previous reviewers and I would urge anyone looking for a new gaming desktop to get this one. You will not regret it, from unboxing and hooking it up to the great gaming you will experience once you are done updating Windows 7 and putting your drivers and utility programs.

Cons: The case is on the bigger side but it doesn't bother me at all because I have it tucked into the corner of my room, on the floor. The mouse and the keyboard are the weak link, but they don't really concern me because I am using my own Logitech mouse and keyboard, which suit my preference for computer gaming.

Other Thoughts: Go ahead and get one. With the swift delivery service from newegg and a great gaming desktop, you can't go wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsA Great Buy

Pros: -Good value (The quality of the parts and the computer as a whole is worth the price. It will also last you a while before you have to upgrade)
-Very easy setup (Everything worked great out of the box, very newbie friendly)
-Quiet (The computer runs with a slight whisper, easily adjustable fan settings)
-Great gaming PC (This computer will run any game very well at near maximum to maximum settings)

Cons: -A big tower (It is heavy, large, and takes some space)

Other Thoughts: Overall, I would rate this at about 4.5/5. The machine is pretty close to perfect. I highly recommend it if you want a gaming machine that will last you a significant amount of time. A worthy purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsOut of the Box, no complaints

Pros: This machine was very easy to set up, and I am impressed. It is very quit and I have the fan settings on max; which are located on the top of the machine for easy control. The interior of the machine is neat and very well organized, whith all the cables bundled and out of the way. Very glad I bought it, and it started right out of the box with no problems. Found everything I connected to it, and allowed instant internet connection. Nice treat and blazing fast.

Cons: It came with a loose screw rolling around inside the machine. I have not been able to locate it, but will keep looking, as I can hear it rattle around when I move the machine. The metal piece covering the USB ports etc. on the back is cheesy and does not appear well made; everything else on the box is great quality, so I was suprised to see this plugging the wireless mouse and keyboard in.

Other Thoughts: The blue lighting which emminates from the machine is very bright, but it is in the office so not completely annoying.

5 out of 5 eggsI Definitely Bought Power!!

Pros: Incredible price for this PC. I'll admit that I was skeptical, but after unboxing the unit, I saw that the product description matched the components EXACTLY. And what high-quality components these are!! I will not give any names, but several well-known "build-it-yourself" companies are charging two to three times as much for the exact same configurations... This PC does not seem to put out too much heat and is fairly quiet - the fans and liquid cooling are working as they should. Windows 7 rates this PC with 7.9s and 7.6s, except for the hard drive - that got a 5.9 (scale goes up to 7.9). These are great scores, indeed. The case is a full-tower, so there is plenty of room for future upgrades; but based on what is already in there, that'll be a lo-o-o-o-o-ng way off. I seriously recommend this gaming rig - it's a build-it-yourself-quality system that just happens to be already put together for you; you only need to set it up and install the drivers. You will not be sorry with this one.

Cons: It's tough to find anything that I don't like about the Gaming Chimera. The weakest components would have to be the keyboard and mouse, but I did not buy this for the keyboard and mouse. Still, the pack-in mouse and keyboard do what they are supposed to do.
I have no real complaints at all.

Other Thoughts: My Gaming Chimera runs perfectly right from the start and plays "Shogun 2" on its highest setting with most everything automatically set to "Ultra" (a Direct X 11 patch will bring the game up to speed later). It's a BIG tower, but thankfully it does not have any obnoxious lighting going on anywhere (you know what I mean...) - the power supply fan seems to glow a faint blue, but that's it. Aside from some graphics on the case, it's pretty discreet about what it is and that is perfectly fine with me. Stop reading this and buy one now – you’ll thank me later.
