5 out of 5 eggsUPS...grrr

Pros: Machine is solid, quite, reasonably cool for this many high-end parts.

Dual Logging in "City of Heroes" at highest resolution on dual monitors and having NO issues (game isn't all that demanding either though... looks better than ever though.)

Cons: HDD DOA, not NewEgg's fault I guarantee! I blame carrier (UPS). The serial SATA cable that goes from MOBO to HDD was so messed up, wires were exposed. The small plastic peice that connects to the HDD's external circuit board was almost completely cracked off. I had to purchase a replacement until I can get this one fixed via solder-gun. Wiring is screwy, nothing TOO bad.

Other Thoughts: Great Disc/Driver Support, was able to install Vista Pre on the new HDD and all the rig's drivers in less than an hour.

If you get this you'll be happy, though I upgraded from a Dell Dimension 4550 which is a HUGE leap, but I still know my stuff when it comes to computers, and this thing is NICE.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent value for the price!

Pros: As shipped it worked without issue right out of the box. I have since upgraded to 64-bit Vista Ultimate, added another 2gigs of RAM, and 2 additional 500gig HDD's for RAID. Still running smooth--also runs very quietly and stays rather cool. After rebates and discounts the entire system in its current setup was just under $1400. If you're a gamer but don't demand the absolute best of the best (and a lot more cost) this system is tough to beat for the price and functionality it offers.

Cons: The way the internal wiring is tied off to parts of the case itself can be pretty annoying--makes it difficult to add any of your own components until you cut the ties. Also, the reset button on the front is ridiculously small and I have to use either my pinkie finger (which barely fits) to hit it or some other small object. The HDD bay leaves no room for HDD fans if you plan to use more than 2 HDD's--and the SATA power cables are awkward to work with (also aren't enough of them for multiple drives).

Other Thoughts: Comes with Vista Home Premium 32-bit only...64-bit OS should at least be an option. The driver/app disc that it ships with even comes with fully functional 64-bit versions. Could use a bit better mobo as well, though this one is quite adequate.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great service from newegg; fast machine; really good deal.

Cons: Could use a faster HDD; assembly quality is not ideal: the hdd and the video card were installed in somewhat sloppy manner.

Other Thoughts: The box scrores over 9000 in 3DMark06, bottleneck being the CPU. Tested under XP Pro.

5 out of 5 eggsslick

Pros: This thing is really nice for the money. It is very cleanly put together, wires neatly routed... parts are superb for the price. Took about two minutes to get it fully up and running. It's pretty quiet for all the fans it's running.

Cons: Would have liked 4 gigs of ram, but I'm not complaining. Not at this price.

Other Thoughts: Only game I've loaded up on it so far is Oblivion, but it runs it flawlessly on max settings at high resolution!

4 out of 5 eggsno problems at all

Pros: easy to set up, like very easy, almost too easy. I thought everyone hated vista too, but it aint so bad. automatically updates and adds the drivers for new hardware it recognizes, easy to network with, just requires lots (LOTS) of memory to run

Cons: could have come with a better motherboard

Other Thoughts: i didnt realize how fancy the case was

Pros: Great buy. Worked right out of the box. Plays Lord of the Rings Online on Very High settings with no problems. A lot quieter then my old PC too.

Cons: Bought it right before thanksgiving, took over a week to ship! :(

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Shipped on time. Quiet, worked right out of the box. Plays Cysis on high settings with no lag. Added 2 GB ReadyBoost thumb drive - don't really notice a difference. Name brand parts inside. To build the cost alone on the parts would have exceeded the total cost of the pc.

Cons: Outer packaging in great shape, inner packing not so good - thought pc would be damaged - it wasn't.

Other Thoughts: Better to buy this week because the manufacturer is giving $50 rebate. I paid the full $xxxx.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Pre-built rig

Pros: It has the 8800GT graphics card and the Athlon 64 X2 6000+ processor which are both cheap and incredibly competitive for their prices. Decent hard drive. SLI capable.

Cons: The RAM could definitely afford to be increased to four gig, although it shouldn't be incredibly hard to upgrade it yourself. My biggest concern is the motherboard. The GigaByte GA-M57SLI-S4 is a decent all around mobo but lacks the capabilities of other mobos.

Other Thoughts: A good system, not too overpriced. If you were to build this system yourself with 4 gigs of RAM on two gig sticks and an ASUS M2N32-SLI mobo which is much better than that GigaByte you would still pay about 100 bucks cheaper. I know, I did it with every part ordered from Newegg.
