1 out of 5 eggsWho let the hard drive out of its cage?!?

Pros: It's got some great components for the price.

Hard to say how it would have run if it hadn't self-destructed the instant the someone sneezed in its direction.

Cons: Computer arrived broken; I could hear parts loose in the case even as I lifted it from the box. I removed the side panel and found that the hard drive was completely unsecured and had been flying around in the case. One set of pins on the HD was bent and badly cracked from where the connector ripped off. A single loose screw was rolling around in the case, and the plastic retainer clip was broken. I'll bet a hard drive loose and on a rampage can do a lot of damage to its more fragile neighbors.

On a side note, I could take my old computer and drop it out my second story window. Certainly it would never survive the fall. But you know what? I bet the HARD DRIVE would still be SECURED IN PLACE. Seriously, who mounts a hard drive with one screw and a junky plastic clip? Read on, I'm NOT the only one who has had this sort of problem with this particular PC.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
We do apologize for the issue; the problem describes possibly of shipping damage. Cyberpower will always stand behind their products; allow us to retrieve the system back to help address the issue otherwise other options maybe available. Please email your name and contact information to Cyber_tech2@cyberpowerpc and arrangements will be made.

4 out of 5 eggsOnly 1 real complaint/issue

Pros: Roomy case with plenty of space for expansion.

Quiet fans and well ventilated with mounting points for 2 additional fans at the top of the case.

the 4G of ram the machine comes with take up only 2 of the 4 slots on the board so it can be upgraded up to 8G

Video card is solid.

Lots of USB connections (6 on rear and 2 in front

Cons: On-board sound isn't bad but it's still on-board sound.

The power supply feels kinda skimpy since it has little to no additional connections given the amount of space in the case for expansion

Also the power supply is on the bottom of the case, which isn't a problem in and of itself, but for some reason the main power cord is laid over the PCI expansion slots in a rather awkward manner (which wouldn't be necessary it for supply were at the top of the case as with most other machines I've worked with/owned). I had to unplug it from the board then thread the cable under the space left when I installed my wireless NIC and sound card. Wouldn't have been a major issue but that cord is extremely short and thus a very tight fight to avoid stretching it.

The power supply issues more than anything are the reason for the lost egg.

Other Thoughts: For the average-moderate computer user a great machine straight out of the box that they likely won't need to upgrade outside of a sound card and/or wireless network card (like I did me)

WoW and other MMO's look incredible on this rig and run with great FPS.

Good rig for the price.

4 out of 5 eggs2nd CyberPowerPC

Pros: I loved my first CP PC so much that I bought another which I love just as much. These boxes are great because I don't have a lot of time to agonise on which parts I'm going buy at what price. I usually just add more ram or the latest and greatest graphics card later on. It's not loaded down with Bloatware, Fast & Quiet + I really love the 'holey' case. Runs Battlefield2 & PhotoShop just fine. =)

Cons: Flimsy Mouse & Keyboard, but I use a wireless set anyway.
Another review stated that the HDMI port on the back was installed so close to the case that they couldn't attach their cables (the odd local can be seen in the pics), but I WAS able to get my cables to attach and they work just fine.

Other Thoughts: Take the time to open the case to make sure all the wires are plugged all the way in.

5 out of 5 eggsLoving this!

Pros: This machine is fast and quiet. Have had it for about a week now and haven't had any problems with it. Games play pretty good on it. WoW, GTA4, CS:Source and Battlefield Bad Company 2. It also came with an extra fan for the side not shown in the pics and you can put up to 3 other fans on the case.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was scared to order from CyberpowerPC because of some bad reviews I've read. But I decided to just go with it and I"m pretty happy I did. If you're thinking about ordering from Cyberpower I say go for it. Only one little problem was the hard drive wasn't mounted right on the slot. So I just had to lock it in place right away. Other than that. Everything is perfect. I would buy from CyberPower again.

5 out of 5 eggsNice!

Pros: Great computer for the price. Fast Powercooler 5770 vid card. Actually came with a side fan for the video card not shown in the pictures which was a nice little bonus.

Cons: Hard drive not securely mounted inside the case. It looks like only one side of the hard drive fits in the case slot.

Other Thoughts: Overall great product!

1 out of 5 eggsFaulty design is faulty.

Pros: None.

Cons: I just received this computer in the mail today, only to find out that who ever put it together, decided to use the closest PCI Slot to the case to insert the GPU. They installed it so close to the case, that I can't even connect my HDMI cable onto it. I'll be returning this Today. >_>

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Gaming PC For a Great Price!!!

Pros: Fast, stable, quiet. Worked great right out of the box. If you are into OC'ing the ASUS MB and Powercolor 5770 both have bios auto settings to take the guess work out of overclocking. Scored 7.5 Graphics,7.4 Ram,7.5 and 7.4 for the other 2 categories but did score a 5.9 for Hard drive.

Cons: Only 1 120mm fan in the rear of the case (you can add 3 more though)

Other Thoughts: I priced out building my own system as I always do, (this is my 1st ever pre-made system) and I couldn't do it for cheaper than this system cost ,including win 7.

5 out of 5 eggsGood.

Pros: Straight out of the box this is a great PC if you're upgrading. if you haven't bought windows 7 and are looking to upgrade parts + windows 7 and price is a great deal. 3dMark06 gave a 14400 roughly for the system as stock. There is no bloatware like you're bound to get with HP's and other PC company's hardware.

Cons: keyboard is pretty cheap but it gets the job done. the mouse isn't too bad.

Other Thoughts: for the price, it's a good deal. it'll be able to run pretty much everything you want to for a few years to come.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat machine for the price

Pros: Great specs. The i5 is a beast at overclocking, and the 5770, while not the best graphics card out there, is great for gaming, and has low power consumption. I'm able to run Firefox, Photoshop, Maya, and other applications at the same time without any hit in performance.

The computer is very quiet, and the computer itself runs incredibly cool.

No bloatware to speak of that I found that needed to be removed.

Built in support for surround sound is nice, though if you're a real audiophobe I'm sure you'll want to go ahead and buy your own sound card.

Cons: The keyboard is really cheap and flimsy, and the mouse has a really short USB cable. You're better off using your own.

When I first booted up the computer to set up Windows, it wouldn't recognize the hard drive. I opened up the case to find that the power cord to the hard drive had come partially unplugged. While it's an easy fix, this could cause headaches for someone who isn't familiar with general computer hardware.

No Firewire port. Pretty bummed about that considering my 6 year old computer had one.

Other Thoughts: Shipping took a while longer than I would have liked (Ordered on the 26th of December for standard 3 day UPS shipping, came in on the 4th of January), but given it was still around the holidays its understandable.
