3 out of 5 eggsDefective PSU

Pros: Good Specs
Works Well
Does everything you need it to do

Cons: About a year in, the PC would not start. I'd have to wait about 24 hours for it to turn on every time it'd fail to start. It would also shutdown randomly. For about a year now, the PSU has been making a buzzing sound. It sounds as if it's dying out, sort of like it's gasping for air is what it sounds like. It obviously came with a defective PSU. One of the front panels (vents) has also opened by itself and it won't close anymore.

2 out of 5 eggsMachine Failed After 1 Year

Pros: Worked fine in the beginning.

Cons: Failed after 1 year

Other Thoughts: I got this PC a year ago. Recently, it started to reboot and would stop rebooting completely. Can't power it on at all after a while. Now, it's dead :(

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome machine

Pros: Super fast intel i5 chip
Case is huge plenty of room for whatever goodies you like

Cons: Graphics card is junk for any hardcore gaming
PSU is a little too weak for running more fans or graphics cards

Other Thoughts: I got this unit on christmas, the box it came in was pretty big not a surprise because this tower is big. Has room to put additional 2 120MM fans on the side, 2 hideaway 3.5 drives on the bottom connected with SATA, has 5 2.5 internal bays. The boot process went smooth as butter, just make sure you always check the connections i didn't find any loose ones in mine but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. The graphics card though is garbage, it comes with just a heatsink no fan cheap. the PSU is also a bit weak with only 1 molex connecter being free. All that aside this is a great baseline to start a mean build with. Beef up the graphics and PSU and you have a awesome machine.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome PC

Pros: Very Fast computer, couldnt have asked for anything else. the computer's build quality is top notch, can handle everything with ease, and the OS discs are a plus. this computer exceeses my expectations

Cons: None so far. the only con I can see is one of the fans was disconnected. simple fix though, just connected it to power supply and i was good to go

4 out of 5 eggsSo Far So Good

Pros: Great price ($599+free shipping Cyber Monday). Not a gamer, does a fantastic job running Windows apps (huge iTunes music library, zillions of photos). No problems, started up right out of the box. Win 7 fine (no expired key issues as described by other reviewers, used product key on case sticker), monitor connection easy (used lower ATU graphic board DVI connector). Can easily handle another HDD (throught door/ tray on front, also should buy SATA cable).

Cons: ATI HD5450 graphics works OK but not great as mentioned below. 8GB RAM would have been nice instead of 4. Bigger case than I expected, 4 fans (front, back power supply, CPU) marginally noisy. Could use more USB's (came with 2 on front, 4 on back). Firewire port would have been nice (none).

Other Thoughts: Plenty or room for expansion. 6 SATA ports on mother board, 3 used (1 HDD, 1 DVD, 1 connected to external port on front). 3 remaining CD/ DVD bays. Integrated motherboard sound OK. Have not yet used integrated motherboard graphics (HDMI, DVI). Only problem is once it froze on on boot bios startup, had to disconnect WD external backup drive connected via USB, then booted fine (now connected via eSATA).

4 out of 5 eggsNew System

Pros: System operated right out of box. Preformed just like I'd hope. The last system I bought from Newegg lasted me 7 years, so I have high hopes that this system will do the same. I recommend this site to all my friends who are liking for electronics, before that go shopping at a store.

Cons: Hope Newegg can negotiate better rates in the future for shipping and handling. In my area UPS service is limited, so I hand to go with FedEx but the S/H fee was outrageous for the same service.

Other Thoughts: I would like to see Newegg provide on-line video guides on how to assemble and install various computer component. I know of many people who would purchase individual component from your site, if they could learn how to install them without having to consulate a technical manual or have the device installed by a computer company for an additional fee.

4 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Fast, can play wow on ultra. Nice case, comes with everything even software dvds which is nicer then just putting everything on a backup patrition on the hard drive.

Cons: initial boot was a nighmare, comp kept freezing and crashing giving various errors.

Fresh format and reinstaltion of windows seems to have cured it.

Other Thoughts: Also bought a HannsG 24" to go with the computer.

4 out of 5 eggsGood computer

Pros: This computer is a great upgrade from my eight-year-old system I did have. Runs smooth, quiet. Looks impressive, is quite large. Plenty of extra space in the inside for upgrades.

Cons: After about two weeks, it started making loud noises upon startup. I took it in to a local pc shop to get diagnosed and the power supply to the fan had gone out. At two weeks old, this was disappointing news. However, it was only $35 to fix and was back to me the same day. Better than mailing to the manufacturer and waiting a month to get it back.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend. Great features for the price, runs WOW smoothly. Minor problem was fixed locally for little money.
