5 out of 5 eggsThis PC has been rocking virtually non stop for years

Pros: This PC has served a family of five for years. My wife browsing, Myself with browsing and MS Office software but 3 boys gaming has really given is some serious hours. I put in an extra 150GB IDE HDD years ago to act as a backup for my music and also be a virtual HDD for games (they run much smoother). After all these years the games have gotten to be too much for the video card so I just upgraded to a Gigabyte Radeon R7 250X OC. We shall see how it does.

Cons: HDD was bad within first week. (refused to boot) MFR took care of it quickly under warranty. Fans replaced when they get noisy. Case was too tall for my location. Had to swap everything into a smaller eMachines case.

Other Thoughts: What I have gotten was more than reasonable for the price I paid.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat computer

Pros: Ive owned this computer for about 5 years now. I have had zero problems with it up until recent when the graphics started to slip a bit. I pulled the board and cleaned it, working perfectly again. still keeps up with all my day to days and even runs a demanding GOPRO studios software that i use all the time. Great computer for the price.

Cons: Case fan is a bit noisy on start up but goes away after a few minutes. could have more memory although its expandable so i guess that's not really a con.

Other Thoughts: Great computer for the cost. has lasted 5 years and handled every update ive thrown at it. im not a gamer however. Runs GOPRO studios. Also runs ITUNES well.

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggs2 years

Pros: It was a decent comp for what I paid. Decent for HTPC and light gaming.

Cons: A few months after purchase the PSU fan started to go out, bought a new one, several case fans went out. a year later CPU fan locked up and cpu burned out, had I still been using it at that time I would have remedied it immediately alas a sibling was and burned it.

Other Thoughts: It stood up to many things, Just shy 10 days from 2 years. I'll replace the cpu when newegg has them back in stock and bandage this up and see how long it goes. It's a good pc for schoolwork and will last rather long considering. Most of my problems came from a sub par PSU and fan units which are easily replaced. Buy this computer if you are on a budget and don't mind playing LoL or WoW on low settings.

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsUpdate to original review.

Pros: None that I can think of.

Cons: All components started dying right after the warranty expired. First the video card went. Then the case fan. Now the motherboard. I now have an out of warranty, black and red doorstop.

Other Thoughts: This PC was never ran hard. Mostly light gaming, lots of Facebook, and plenty of Word documents. Kept in a clean room with tile floor (no carpet). This is the only PC in my house that I did not build myself. Just stay away from this manufacturer.

Manufacturer Response:

"Dear Valued Customer

Please remember to help register the product to help speed up the process otherwise you can email you full contact information to Cyber_tech2@cyberpowerpc.com."

4 out of 5 eggsGood computer

Pros: -nice case
-good features for price
-fast

Cons: -noisy fan after about 6 months
-squeaky mouse
-plug in for hdmi
-audio in front

Other Thoughts: I've had this computer for over a year now. I do like the computer a lot. I've played Crysis on it, and it played fine and looked great. I also have Portal 2 which plays just fine. The computer is still running fast and operation smoothly. My only complaints is that the CPU fan is starting to fail, which makes a loud buzzing noise when the computer comes out of sleep. Extremely annoying! I will replace with a better one soon. The mouse that the PC came with started squeaking almost immediately after purchase. I replaced with wireless mouse and keyboard for $35 (logitech). And it may just be some hdmi chords, but it was tricky getting my hdmi chord to plug all the way in to the graphics card. Also, the audio plug in in the front is messed up and makes my speakers crackle if the wire jiggles at all. But the plug in in the back is fine. For the price I bought this computer at, (last year on black friday) it was a steal. The specs are great, the computer runs well, "one" thumb up.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Bang for the Buck

Pros: Setup was easy and everything worked right away. No searching for drivers, no blue screens.
Has handled everything my kids have thrown at it. My wife could have set it up and that's saying something.

Cons: I don't care for the red lights in the case although the kids think they are cool, so I can't really deduct an egg.

Other Thoughts: Would definitely buy again. WEI CPU-`6.6 MEM - 7.2 Graphics - 4.1 Gaming Graph 5.9 HD - 5.9
Graphics are the weak link, but that can be solved with a mid range graphics card around $100.

4 out of 5 eggsHad problems at first but OK now

Pros: Lots of features for under $400. I had a problem but factory support made it right.

Cons: Case is HUGE!

Other Thoughts: Died about a week after purchase. Would not boot. They first sent me a new HDD. Tried it but it still would not boot. Got RMA for whole PC. They paid shipping BOTH ways. Has worked great ever since.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect... for now.

Pros: Great low-mid range gamer PC. Great Christmas gift for someone not too hardcore into gaming, but still can get the job done with minor tweeks here and there.

Cons: None really - overall very happy

Other Thoughts: Replaced the cheap RAM that came with it to some way better stuff. Will possibly up the video card here soon to, but for now... it works just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Service

Pros: So far, set up has been extremely smooth.

Cons: None at the moment.

Other Thoughts: I was reading through the reviews thus far and noticed there was a lot of customer service bashing. I wanted to mention that when I called customer service, not only did I get a representative instantly to get my information but when I was told to wait for the tech person to call, the tech person called my phone within 5 minutes and helped me solve my problem. This was extremely good service in my opinion. I think it is fair to say that their customer service has improved.

5 out of 5 eggscant beat it!

Pros: the price. was on sale for black Friday, plus free shipping.
was looking to replace my old computer, found what i needed here. Use my computer for mostly watching movies, and some gaming, this does the trick.

Cons: shipping took a while (over 1 week). would like more free power connectors from power supply, but oh well. still very nice system for the money.
