1 out of 5 eggsUnhappy

Pros: The description of memory and price

Cons: Too many to list

Other Thoughts: Right out of the box it had issues because the OS wasn't seated properly. Took 3 hours to fix that issue but I was determined so I didn't give up.
I've had it 2 years now and it has been the loudest computer I've ever had. It sounds like it's going to take off down the runway and fly away.
It must have ADD because it cannot retain a system restore either.. partition failures.
I'm not taking another chance on CyberpowerPC again

3 out of 5 eggsgood and bad

Pros: when it works it's fast

Cons: was DOA, ended up flipping hdd over to get it to work(that lasted about a year until hdd started clicking) went through 5 hdd's in a month now, assuming its the motherboard(hdd works on friends pc but not mine anymore) keep getting please insert booable media or something like that and won't show the drive in bios

Other Thoughts: it's a good pc when it works, but i've had more issues with this comp that my laptop i got 2 years before it

3 out of 5 eggsHDD probs

Pros: Good processor decent video card for most games and fast

Cons: hard drive dies within 2 weeks, unable to repair using windows. Contacted cyberpower and they agreed to send another harddrive after I had to pay like a core charge. Then I was forgotten for a couple weeks(one new computer and no hardrive later)and after several calls, I finally received it. Bought an SSD for OS and used toshiba drive for data. Last week HDD made clicking sounds and windows advised me backup data, failure was imminent. So I bought a new Seagate 2tb and was able to clone it, all 252gb. Toshiba HD junk. But I am out of 1yr warranty now. So good deal didn't work out so well.

Manufacturer Response:

2 out of 5 eggsNot happy

Pros: The Processor and Motherboard are still going hard.

Cons: I've replaced the HDD to an SDD because the SATA cable was crimped and crashed my HDD. Lost my windows, had to re-buy.

Got a new Graphics card cause the one inside over heated and broke.

DVD-RW works 1/3 the time, about to be replaced.

Case has been modified to fit the actual components and upgrades. (side panels removed to prevent crimping of wires etc.)

No extra slot for a wireless card.

Other Thoughts: Nothing but troubles from this PC. I probably will take business to a competitor on next PC purchase.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid System

Pros: - Great performance overall on a budget graphics system (purchased on sale for $800).
- Decent 3D graphics card
: Performs well under Autodesk Maya (Trial)
- Great processor/RAM/Motherboard
- Large tower provides expansion for drives (added 2 eSata)
- Above standard presentation regarding the tower
- Includes wealth of documentation (great for DYI people)
- Windows 8 (after updates)
: Let me explain this one. I personally didn't like Win 8 at first but after the updates it really flies! Boots quick (better than Win 7 or XP, tested with default install settings), it recovers much better, assisted me in diagnosing hardware a failure (HDD crashed), settings were recovered on re-install to new drive after signing into Microsoft Account, and so on.

Cons: - Hard drive crashed within a year (Toshiba 2GB)
- Requires updates for Windows 8 to perform perfectly

Other Thoughts: I bought this machine to reboot an art career focused on 3D and Photoshop art and so far it hasn't disappointed. Windows 8 took some getting used to and as the updates came out, woes went away. Now I use this to work on 3D animation and cg painting which has been a real treat!

One note, make sure to update EVERYTHING (Wacom tablet drivers, video card drivers, Win 8 itself, and so on)! I had a lot of early troubles with my Wacom tablet not working and other small nuances that really threw off my workflow. But after the updates everything was back to normal. This is easily my best pre-built PC purchase. And I'm still completely happy with it.

I highly recommend you add a Solid State HDD to this machine (at least 500 GB). It will launch incredibly fast!

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsEverything is slowly breaking down

Pros: Great processor, great video card.

Cons: Everything is slowly dying on me. My hard drive went first, then my RAM. I've only had this comp for a few months. I bought this because I thought I was getting a really good desktop for a cheap price....apparently that is not the case. Customer service over at cyberpower sucks too.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Seems to be a fairly fast computer out of the box ready to go. Once it was up and running it has worked great. Plays the lastest games with pretty much ease.

Cons: Had an issue with the hard drive power plugin. The hard drive would not power up, so, no boot. The power supply from the factory is basically junk to start with.

Other Thoughts: The support from the company was great on helping figure out the power issue to the hard drive.

1 out of 5 eggsHard drive issue explained

Pros: Everything except the hard drive/assembly

Cons: Due to hard drive mounting placement and tightness of right side panel, almost every hard drive is damaged during assembly and shipping. Audio ports are not configured properly, i.e., plugging headphones in front does not disable speakers.

Other Thoughts: As mentioned in multiple posts, this machine had major hard drive problems. The cause is that pressure against the sata and power cables breaks the receptor plate on the bottom of the hard drive. I have lived with it for a couple of months by clamping the hard drive plate; however, it continues to chirp occasionally and corrupt files. Just bought a new SSD from newegg and expect my problems to disappear.

Manufacturer Response:

We do apologize for the inconvenience. If there is a problem with hardware, please allow our technicians to address the issue. 3 out of 5 eggsMEH

Pros: Solid machine capable of running Planetside 2 pretty well

Cons: Had problems with hardware on day 1. Called newegg to replace but the afternoon of the call I thought I had fixed it with a reformat. About a month later the problem came back so I called cyberpower (newegg return policy ended) Cyberpower didn't call or email me back for 2 days, so I called again. The tech support was poor. He didn't diagnose any problems or care to hear any of the extensive error reports or diagnostic steps I took. He had me send the hdd in and when I got it back the problem persisted. Called and emailed them again, same deal. had to call a second time. Now they're having me send the whole machine in. After 7 reformats and about 1 month out of the last 3 not being able to use my 800$ computer I get to pay to ship it.. again... so they can maybe fix it for real this time.

Other Thoughts: wtb: customer service. (from cyberpower, newegg was boss. cyber was fail.)

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We do apologize for any issues you may have. Cyberpower will always stand behind their products, so please allow us the opportunity to address any issues. Please email your name and contact information to Cyber_tech2@cyberpowerpc.

1 out of 5 eggsAwful customer service, failed OS, very unhappy.

Pros: I worked for about two months.

Cons: After said two months, the OS just failed on me, and now I'll I can get to is system repair. I've tried every number people have givin to me, but I got was someone who barley speaks English. I'm very unhappy, I'm never buying from newegg again. I called neweggs number and all they told me to do was call CyberpowerPC. Waste of $800.

Other Thoughts: I'm writing this on my mums laptop. And they never sent me the OS disk..
