1 out of 5 eggsCyberPower PC is horrible

Pros: nothing came broken in various parts, from the processor clips to a shoved in HDD that bends the metal housing.

Cons: everything, i returned one that was broken for another that had the same issue !

Other Thoughts: dont ever buy power pc ever

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good parts, cheap price

Cons: When I opened the box I discovered that during shipping the heatsink had disconnected from the CPU. On top of that, it broke the mounting bracket when it had done so. Also, the main case fan was disconnected from the mother board as well.

Anyway, cleaning the thermal paste off the ram and the CPU, installing a new mounting bracket, removing the old thermal paste and applying new thermal paste, and reseating the heatsink seems to have fixed it, as I've had no issues since booting it up (Though, I've only been running it for about 4 days).

Other Thoughts: All in all it was a decent buy, but I'm still somewhat concerned that the heatsink had damaged something and I'm just not aware of it.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY!

Pros: Great parts
Great price

Cons: Doesn't run, because cyberpower must have the hulk assembling computers.

Other Thoughts: I thought I was getting a steal with this setup. Turns out, during assembly someone broke the heatsink mounting bracket. The computer arrived with the heatsink totally dislodged and thermal paste all over the motherboard/cpu. Even after replacing that piece, and applying new thermal paste, the computer still freezes after 45 seconds of being turned on. Sending it back to cyberpower for a 3 WEEK turn around repair. These guys are a joke...

1 out of 5 eggsmotherboard issues

Pros: Nice computer for the price, Video card is good, case is clunky at best when working inside, especially trying to change out parts

Cons: This part is the worst. Motherboard is complete garbage in it, called tech support all they did was cut me off everytime i tried to tell them it was motherboard issues. they tell me to put it in the box, print out the tag and send it back, so i did waited a good while, get it back, same issues same problems, took it upon my self to get a new motherboard, and put it in, no more issues, runs great, my friends want me to RMA the motherboard back, but i said im done with cyberpower PC, really dont want to talk with them or give them more money. this pc gets 1 egg, and i wont change it back.

Other Thoughts: thought i got a good deal with a nifty looking PC, but the motherboards problems are too much, tech support was ok, but they were too interested in cutting me off when i tried to explain the issues, like i said in cons, no more of my time or money will goto Cyberpower PC

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Computer came out of the box working well.

Cons: After 3 weeks the loading screen would get stuck at the beginning for about 5 min then I would load. Playing WOW on this comp the FPS were all over the place. My buddy had his comp (same one) come to him with same issue since day 1 had to send it back.

Other Thoughts: Had the motherboard worked properly I would have given it a 5 egg rating but when I get this issue resolved (fixed) and returned I will be changing my post and making it 5 eggs

Manufacturer Response:

2 out of 5 eggsHeat issues

Pros: Not bad, fast and reliable for basic activities(Surfing the Web, watching movies, and other low end tasks).

Cons: Video card gets too hot after a couple hours of playing any game and shuts down.

Other Thoughts: Recommend adding a PCI fan to help with video card heat issues. Overall rating is based off the amount of gaming I do and what my expectations were when I purchased the computer. It's not a bad system, but heat issues should have been tested.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsCyberpowerPC Gamer

Pros: Awesome boot time with windows 8. Great for over clocking once you get a good cpu cooler installed(the one it comes with suuuucks) but I managed to push it to 4Ghz but im sure it'll go up to 4.5Ghz without trouble as long as you have a liquid cpu cooler. And the awesome thing is it lets you overclock without going into the bios so thats a huge plus. I'm sure it'll play any game in the market for the next 3 years. And cant forget the GPU, its awesome!!!! Love it, best thing about this desktop.

Cons: Seems to lose contact with the gaming mouse it comes with every once in a while. It might be because i have all the usb connections that comes with it connected to something. Even un-syncs my headset or internet connection at times. Wth is a major downfall. I blame the motherboard but I'm not sure.

5 out of 5 eggsSecond opinion

Pros: - Still works like a charm, however a technical problem had to be resolved.

After switching on the Graphics Overdrive in the Catalyst Control Center and restarting the computer, the BIOS didn't find the hard drive anymore and tried to boot from a non existing 2.2 TB "Infinity" disk and then reported "No bootable drive found, press any key", after which it restarted and repeated the whole cycle.

I went to the BIOS settings by pressing DEL and it turns out the boot sequence was changed to boot from this mysterious 2.2 TB non-existing drive. After pointing the boot sequence back to my existing hard drive the computer started working again and there are no other problems.

I'm writing this stuff because I saw that other people reported here the same problem and just returned their computers. There is an easy fix for the disappearing hard drive and the problem is probably some glitch in the BIOS and the Catalyst software.

Cons: - There is a bug in the bios firmware
