When you want that theater experience at home, Panasonic's 42" TH42PX75U is the screen. The 10th generation plasma screen has a contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and the ability to display 29 billion colors with 3,072 shades of gradation. You get a clear display, startling colors and amazing clarity.
The three tuners, NTSC, ATSC and QAM combine to receive all available broadcast signals. A multitude of inputs allows you to hook up your multimedia sources. The EZ Sync™ HDAVI Control (through the HDMI port) lets you operate all of your home theater components by pressing a single button on your TV's remote control.
The GalleryPlayer® feature lets you display high definition images and art downloaded from your PC. The Photo Viewer will display DCF compliant pictures from an SD card as a slide show.

Great plasma
- Pros: -Makes the best out of any input/signal format combinations, not only from HD on HDMI which you usually see at stores' showrooms.
-HD looks sharp, rich and smooth at the same time.
-Has all the inputs you will need (unless you runs underground TV studio).
-Looks stylish, comes with solid pedestal which will fit on smaller TV stand.
- Cons: -Mediocre sound from embedded speakers (but who cares about them)
-Limited control over video (and especially audio!) output, my old CRT had more options
-No CC from HDMI input (but again who cares)
- Other Thoughts: I've been reading reviews and expert advices and agonizing over "Plasma or LCD" dilemma until I had a chance to watch side by side this TV and one of the most prized LCD which costs extra $1K+ for the same size. This plasma won by knockout in a few minutes. When it comes to picture LCDs still "almost as good" as plasma and cost "almost as low" (read - extra 1K).
Easy to setup, looked great from the box!
- Pros: I expected to have to spend a lot of time setting this monitor up, but as soon as I powered it up, I was wowed by the factory setting.
Honestly, when one finds himself glued to the WeatherChannel-HD, then you know there's a good image!
- Cons: Nothing to add to the other reviews. I kind of wished having an ability to center the image, and to easily adjust any overscan/underscan, but this monitor is so close as it is, I doubt if I'll miss this.
- Other Thoughts: NewEgg's shipping was amazingly fast. The monitor arrived two days early!

Nice
- Pros: Looks good and very stable on tv stand.
- Cons: It is heavy with TV stand mount attachted
- Other Thoughts: Nice TV nice upgrade from 27in love it

- Pros: Beautiful picture, works great with Windows Media Center
- Cons: The screw holes were a little far apart for the universal mount that I bought from Home Depot, but I managed to make it work anyway.
