fantastic- but be aware
Pros: I got this 46" beast for $6## during new years sale. Unbelievable value. Once you turn it on, it will look dark- go to menu and set it to VIVID, that's the good stuff. This TV is everything you are hoping for in a plasma BUT READ THE CONS
Cons: Models made before August of 2011 have a defect called flucutating brightness- google ST30 fluctuating brightness or look on youtube. There are four numbers in the serial that you can check to see if your TV is affected.
Other Thoughts: Fantastic TV, perfectly fills out my large living area

Very hard on eyes
Pros: Screen is very sharp. Colors are comparable to other Panasonic plasma units. Blacks are very deep. No ghosting or trails when a bright object moves over a dark background. Screen coating is very good at keeping room reflections to a minimum. On-screen setup and menu is generally easy to use. Remote is sturdy and includes a backlight button for night use. Supports both Ethernet and dual-band 802.11n networking. Switching from one digital channel to another is very quick.
Cons: 1) Screen refresh rate [in 2D mode] is only 60Hz, which causes significant eye strain and headaches. 2) Motion smoother often breaks for 1-2 seconds after scene changes in some movies, even when set to "high" mode. 3) Picture brightness seems to "jump" 1-2 seconds after a scene change from very light to very dark. 4) Advanced internet content menu is clunky when using remote. 5) No analog audio out; SPDIF is optical only. 6) No S-Video input.
Other Thoughts: Compared to my older Panasonic plasma displays, this unit has a sharper picture and improved OSD. However, the horizontal refresh rate is horrible; it is like an old cheap VGA monitor. I cannot watch the screen for more than an hour without a raging headache. The frame interpolation ("motion smoother") works so inconsistently that I ended up disabling it. I'm also disappointed that the single legacy video input was composite-only; there is no S-Video input (I had to use my AV receiver to convert S-Video to YPbPr Component). I was also annoyed that the unit only has no coaxial SPDIF outputs; optical SPDIF digital connections are less common (or fewer in number) on many AV receivers. I have not tried the 3D functionality as I have no 3D content.

Amazig TV & Newegg
Pros: At this price $813.30 delivered this is absolutely the best price for this excellent HDTV that is available ANYWHERE. I had searched all of the retail outlets initially as I was a bit concerned with shipping damage but BB-FYS-VID Only etc were all not able or willing to either order it (kept repeating that 46" is not a size in demand and worst of them all BB wanted to charge me a premium price plus a penalty and delivery fees of $180.00 to ship the item to me directly (would not take into a store thereby eliminating the freight) and were so arrogant that I am done with them forever. The specs on this TV even at regular price of $859.00 make it one of best ever for the dollar. The Infinite black panel is a huge improvement over the standard panel, is DLNA ready, 3D is nice if I ever use it and the overall quality of the picture with the Infinite Black panel removed the last objection I had to plasma. Game motion at the store was hugely improved from my 8 year old Pana Plasma.
Cons: The "only" possible is to include a dedicated computer hookup but as smarter folks have told me that is no longer a necessity as long as I use HDMI from my puter to the TV.
Other Thoughts: Frankly had started to lose a bit of confidence in Newegg as theyhav grown especially due to the adoption of marketing ploys that seem similar to Tiger and other 2nd rate sites but I suppose was inevitable. Shipping costs also seem to have risen dramatically for many items. Overall I still rate Newegg as my #1 choice by far to order materials from.

Pros: picture quality, adjustments, internet
Cons: first one that was received was damaged, no 3d glasses included
Other Thoughts: After contacting Newegg because the first one that was received was damaged, Newegg worked quickly to resolve the problem. When I received the replacement, the tv was easy to set up. You will have to adjust the brightness and color out of the box, as the standard settings are very dark. After the adjustments, the picture looks phenominal. It is very easy to use, the internet connectivity is a breeze, and there are plenty of hookups. I am very happy with this tv.
