Great for supplementary heating and spot heating, the Delonghi HMP1500 heater offers 1500 watts of safe and quiet heating in your bedroom, study or office. Using energy-efficient mica heating elements, this fan-less heater delivers even and fast warmth, while the High (1500w)/Low (750w) settings and adjustable thermostat allow you to customize the heating output to your comfortable level. You can use it on its own stand, or mount it on the wall to save space and reduce clutter. For safety, this model has a thermal cut-off to prevent overheating, an internal tip-over switch in case the unit becomes unstable or falls over, and power/caution indicator lights. It also has a convenient carry handle and casters for easy transport.

1 out of 5 eggsNot much heat

Pros: Quiet

Cons: At max setting, heat is felt about 2 feet in front of unit. No heat past there. It isn't going to heat a small room at all, much less a large area.

5 out of 5 eggslove it

Pros: Great. Fast to heat, no bright radiating light or noise.

Cons: I wish the thermostat was more accurate. I have no idea what 1-6 is in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Like come on dēlonghi why are you still using a 1-6 knob. This is 2015, even walgreen's space heaters have digital thermostats or actual temperatures to set it to.

5 out of 5 eggssensitive temperature setting

Pros: Heats fast and bring out the toast. It is a powerful heater.

Cons: VERY sensitive heat setting. If I move the knob 3 degrees in either direction, it will be too hot or too cool. I put marks on the knob (between number 1 and number 2) that are less than 1/16" apart to be able to set a comfortable all night temperature. It does the job VERY well, but can easily "cook" me.

Other Thoughts: I have 2 and if they go on a goof sale, I will buy at least 2 more. I have 2 rooms that are not currently heated.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent space heater

Pros: Heats a small sized room very quickly and is very energy efficient compared to using electric heat central air (no heat pump)
Very quiet. A very very faint hum and a red glowing power button are the only ways you can tell this is even on.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsSUPER HEATER

Pros: Longtime fan of Delonghi products and this heater does not disappoint -- 2-power levels (750/1500) and 6-temp settings, this heater, to my amazement, has been able to heat two large rooms (20x20) -- very easy to roll -- nice safety features (tip-over & overheating).

Cons: With its wire grill, it could use some improvement in the aesthetic department.

Other Thoughts: Option for wall-mount.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome heater

Pros: Quiet
Adjustable settings
Heats a small room up in under 10 mins.

Cons: none at the moment

Other Thoughts: If you shake it there seems to be a loose screw in there, that is normal, it's suppose to be tip over protection or something like that.
When you first turn it on it smells bad, set it to highest setting and run it outside for 3~4 hours to fix that.
Been using for 6 month, no problems yet.

5 out of 5 eggsEggcelent choice for small spaces

Pros: Thin Profile, Light Weight, Wall mountable, Efficient, Thermostatic control = set and forget (once you determine the correct setting).

Cons: Cost of the Electricity??? really... none at the moment.

Other Thoughts: Contrary to what some reviews have said (they missunderstood the warnings) this heater IS wall mountable. What they DO NOT want you to do is direct the radiant heat toward a wall (within 3 ft. of the front) it really is common scense. The back side of the unit remains totally cool to the touch. I have this in an 8ft x 12ft shop (very little insulation (yet)) and on nights where it hits 30 deg f it has no issues keeping it comfortable and all while on the low setting. Once fully insulated this will be more than sufficient through the winter months.

5 out of 5 eggsToasty

Pros: Even radiant heat
Has high/low (1500W/750W) switch
Thermostat has antifreeze setting
Silent
Wall mountable

Cons: When it's first run from being brand new, it really stinks bad for about an hour. Then next three hours have some smell. After this it is smell free. Be sure to first run it outside when it's brand new for a while to burn off the smell of paint from manufacture.

Other Thoughts: Once you burn off the paint smell from manufacturing it's an awesome heater.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Heater But...

Pros: Excellent Heat, quiet operation, wall mountable. Easily keeps medium to small room nice at night

Cons: Thermostat gives different temperature each night, 69 one night, 73 the next. One year warranty (Lasko have 3year)

Other Thoughts: Like the heating and silence of this heater, but temperature control is iffy.
