3 out of 5 eggsCheaply made

Pros: Does a great job grilling just about anything. Grill plates are light and easy to clean.

Cons: It wasn't but a few months when first one button that releases one of the grill plates broke and then another one did. Fortunately the clips that hold the grill plates still engaged, but the only way of disengaging them is to pull on them with your fingers, just wait till the grill plates are cooled down.

Other Thoughts: It's really a shame that the release buttons broke so quickly. Fortunately, the griddler is still functioning properly.

Cons: The housing of stainless is difficult to clean. Micro-fiber cloth helps.

5 out of 5 eggsAlmost 5n1

Pros: Panni, Griller, Griddle, & sandwich press w/ grill part.
Heats up rapidly, much better than the cheap Panni only item we got as a gift.
Panni part cooks pretty thoroughly and we're able to enjoy sandwiches (very much like a bistro) but at a fraction of the cost.
Turned our leftover turkey into some nice Panni's or lightly toasted/wgrill marks or some really tasty Quesadillas.
Burgers came out good - prefer Green Egg but when you want a tri-meat burger cooked quickly and not so fatty this works perfectly.

Cons: Griddle - didn't do well w/ Eggs as the griddle doesn't really lay totally flat. (Good for bacon and run off)
The egg mixture (scramble) started to run off into the grease catcher. so you have to move quickly w/ spatula to keep it on the griddle.

waffles - you need another set of plates to really make this a 5n1. a bit false on advertisement.

Other Thoughts: We got this on a Newegg sale = wish we had got two so we could have gave one to Son and his wife and one to my daughter and husband.

5 out of 5 eggsLOVE IT !!!!

Pros: We cook everything we can on it. Pork chops are amazing, panini's are perfect, chicken breasts are delish.

cleanup is a total breeze. Parents buying one after having our pork chops.

Cons: not having bought it sooner.

Other Thoughts: wish the top has a little more flexibility where it would sit flat for a thicker meal. If you make a panini thats too thick, it could get squished, but in retrospect, it is a panini.

still totally great.

4 out of 5 eggsGood multiuse grill

Pros: Compact size, grill and griddle.

Cons: Niche appliance. Some parts feel cheap.

Other Thoughts: We don't use ours nearly as much as we thought we would, but it's a great grill regardless.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cooking Accessory

Pros: Not too big, not too small. Doesn't smoosh things. Top grill lays flat to the bottom grill so that the back of whatever you're cooking isn't smooshed more than the front. I'm still learning how to operate it but so far it's pretty intuitive. The grilling plates are extremely easy to clean. They are also very light compared to the George Forman plates on his larger grill. We're giving our George Forman away to Goodwill.

Cons: I would like to buy the waffle plates but at $34 to $39, they are too expensive. What a rip off. They should be less than $20 in my opinion.

3 out of 5 eggsExcellent cooking, while it works

Pros: Grills clean easily
Cooked 3 successful and tasty meals out of 3 attempts

Cons: Grills are thin and warped noticeably first use
On the 3rd use, the release latch on the top left broke

I've literally had mine since the 19th and we cooked our first meal that night.

Other Thoughts: I really want to love this thing. It was well reviewed, and it cooks well. I'm willing to chalk this up to one bad one, but I've seen other reviews about the warping on other sites.

Had it not broken, this would have been a 5 egg, but as it is, I'm tempted to give it a 1 or a 2.

5 out of 5 eggsCusinart GR SS Griddler long term

Pros: This grill/griddle removable plate table top cooking device is almost a universal cooking solution. I use it daily, often 3x a day. I have owned it for over 2years. I make pancakes daily in the fully opened position, the temp regulator has been perfect, never a burnt product. sears, burgers, chicken breast. pork chops marks grill lines and never dries them out. can do fish, can actually sautee as well with low fat. no stick has lasted on all 4 plates. not 100%on grill due to aggressive cleaning but still 98% covered and no problems with sticking. Plates are easy to clean and replace for a price, if needed. clean outside easy and sparkles. stores in a minute I am very impressed with this kitchen tool. not commercial abuse but heavy home use has not caused any significant wear issues.
Heat from top and bottom, contact cooking gets a thick burger or steak done in 5mins. i hand form 12oz burgers, and put 2 on at once and cook in 5mins to med rare.

Cons: The plates are aluminum but thinner than i would like. makes heat up fairly fast, but also the sear heat level drops as soon as the first burger is put on the temp goes down. will often cook multiple batches rather than crowd the grill. that is a good practice normally ,however, i can fit 3 giant burgers on easily but only make one at a time, or 2 normal sized ones to make sure i get the sear marks. the positive side is that a 'normal' sized 5 or 6oz burger will easily cook to med. in 4mins. so in 8mins i can put out 4 of them. a thick plate would not drop off so easily. not a big issue.
there are hot spots as well. i have cooked professionally for over 40yrs and dont know a griddle or grill which doesnt have temp variation and this is not really much different, on a smaller scale.

Other Thoughts: I had a hard time coming up with cons that i couldnt justify or mitigate easily. I had a problem with the no stick surface as soon as i got it, i thought it would fail completely in less than a year, and here it is over 2yrs later and i am still using the same original grill and griddle plates. it appeared as if it would come off any minute but only a few areas actually lost any coating on the grill plates only. the griddle plates are perfect. daily use pancakes, eggs, as well as steaks and burgers using the griddle method as many top restaurants still do to 'blacken'. this will not achieve the super high temps that a real cast iron pan will for authentic blackening, but i do like that method sometimes and the griddle plates have held up so not one pancake has ever stuck.
the grill will hold a 360º temp for all my pancakes to turn out golden green/red light method for telling when it is at temp or heating still working

5 out of 5 eggsVery good..

Pros: I'm not much of a cook, but this is the easiest way I've seen yet to make a near-perfect burger every time.

Cons: The grease trap is a little tricky to slide in and out of it's mounting slot without spilling.

Other Thoughts: Worth the purchase.
