Pros: This is a good heater. It will definitely provide adequate warmth to a room between 100 and 200 feet square. Other portable heaters will disappoint, but not this one. This heater does the job.

Cons: My cons are not with the heater but with New Egg's service. In particular their incompetent packing which resulted in the heater's instruction manual, remote control, and warranty being lost in transit. This is incompetence on their part. Another wrap around with some packing tape would have precluded this from happening.

Other Thoughts: Like I said, this is a good product, but do yourself a favor and buy it from a retailer other than New Egg. Purchase it from a retailer that makes a conscientious effort to have orders shipped to their customers without the box or packaging failing. While the loss of the remote and instructions is not the end of the world, it does show that New Egg couldn't care less what condition an order arrives in when it gets to the customer. That's not acceptable. I will be taking much of my business elsewhere. I recommend you do so too.

Pros: Instantaneous directional heat. Is able to warm up a bedroom at a fairly rapid pace. Remote is very convenient when you do not want to get out of bed but need to change the temperature. There is a high/low/auto feature. The high setting will keep the heater on even if it crosses the set temperature. The auto feature shuts off once the temperature is 2 degrees higher than the set temperature.

Cons: Thermostat seems to have an issue. For example, if I set it to be 60, the thermostat will read 58 - 59 and will stay on all night long even when its gets hot in the room. Eventually it turns off. I have not yet received my electric bill for this month so I'm not sure if it actually is saving me $ or not.

Other Thoughts: Overall this product is recommended even in cold weather. It was around 10 - 20 this winter here and it kept the bedroom nice and warm. You can put this product up right next to the wall or curtains due to the design. The design also makes it look nice so it is not something that just stands out in the room if you just put it up against the wall. I would buy it again.

Pros: Nice display easy to read. Easy to use buttons. Easy to understand functions. lightweight.

Cons: none. no automatic oscilation

Pros: Instant heat.

The design is great. You can put this heater just about anywhere and direct the airflow wherever you want with the adjustable vent lever.

The outside of it never really gets hot, so you really can put it right up against a wall.

Cons: The remote feels very cheap, and it's not illuminated.

However, the buttons are all big enough, and different sizes at that, to know which button is which after you've used it a few times.

It's easy for me to move this thing from room to room, but could be difficult for certain others as there is no handle on it.

Other Thoughts: A bit pricey compared to lower end ceramic heaters, but the versatility of it makes it well worth it.
