Messes like sticky food residue or batter overflow are things of the past. Cleaning is nearly effortless as both sets of waffle and skillet grids and pre-measured scoop are all dishwasher safe. Wipe outside of unit with a damp, soapy cloth but do not use steel wool, scouring pads, abrasive cleansers or sharp or pointed objects on any part of the unit.
Before pouring batter into the skillet or waffle grid, always spray them with a small amount of non-stick cooking spray. The skillet is recommended for cooking any foods that produce grease. Cooking times for skillets and waffles are based on fresh or thawed ingredients. Waffle color and crispiness is determined by the heat of the temperature grids so the higher the temperature, the browner and crisper the waffle. One large egg
One large egg white
One tablespoon (15ml) strawberry preserves
One tablespoon (15ml) cream cheese
One tablespoon (15ml) chopped pecans
Two slices cinnamon bread
Preheat skillet grids on medium heat. Beat egg and egg white in medium bowl; set aside. Mix cream cheese and pecans in small bowl; spread on one slice of bread and spread strawberry preserves on remaining slice of bread. Make a sandwich by placing bread slices with filling sides together. Place sandwich in egg mixture for two minutes, then turn and soak for an additional two minutes. Add bread to skillet, close cover and cook four to five minutes or until cooked through. Serve with confectioners’ sugar or maple syrup, for savory taste. Serves: One
Sausage and Potato Omelette
Two large eggs, beaten
One Tablespoon (15ml) sour cream
¼ teaspoon (1.3ml) Italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon (0.6ml) salt
1/8 teaspoon (0.6ml) pepper
¼ cup (60ml) bulk sausage
¼ cup (60ml) diced hash browns
Two tablespoons (30ml) chopped onion
Two tablespoons (30ml) chopped pepper
Two tablespoons (30ml) shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat skillet grids on medium heat. Beat eggs, sour cream, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Spray skillet with nonstick cooking spray, add sausage, close cover and cook for 2 minutes (drain fat if necessary). Add potatoes, onion and pepper to sausage mixture. Close cover and cook two minutes longer. Pour egg mixture over potato mixture, close cover and cook for three additional minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and remove from skillet. Serves: One
Homemade Blueberry Waffles
Two cups (500ml) flour
Two tablespoons (30ml) sugar
One tablespoon (15ml) baking powder
One teaspoon (5ml) salt
1 ¾ cups (430ml) milk
1/3 cup (80ml) vegetable oil
One cup fresh/dried blueberries
Preheat skillet grids on medium heat. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir together milk, oil and eggs. Gradually add milk mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until blended. Pour two pre-measured scoops of batter into the middle of the waffle maker. After pouring batter onto waffle grids, sprinkle fresh blueberries over batter; then close the lid. Do not stir blueberries into batter; this will make blue-gray waffles. Serves: Six (1/2 waffle each)

Pros: Cook all kinds of breakfast with this bad boy. Waffles are thick and fried eggs are quick and don't require flipping. Cleaning is easy.
Cons: Just as a few others that had problems with the upper heating panel, waffles get cooked faster at the button than on top. Top heating pad isn't as hot compared to the bottom one.
Other Thoughts: All you gotta do to get the right waffle is to flip it during the cooking process. It's a bit more of a hassle but for the price, its a good waffle maker
