Can anyone with this unit clarify how water drainage works? We have an older Soleus 10k btu and we can only use it for 35-60 minutes before it stops the compressor with the water error. The drain is on the bottom and therefore painful to drain so frequently plus messy Is this the case with this unit?

Ive been using it several hours a day all summer and it hasnt required the water pan to be emptied yet- very pleased with it.
