5 out of 5 eggsSturdy Tool

Pros: Works great and has positive breaking feel.

Cons: Can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: I punched down 30 plus drops without issues. Worked as expected.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent punchdown tool

Pros: Works great for me so far. I've only had it for about a week though, so I'll report back if the quality drops off. For the time being, it's working fine. Good quality blades too.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Works well and for a very competitive price. I can't really see much of a difference between this and some of the other big names out there. I'll report back if the quality drops off quicker than it should... but I honestly don't see that happening. We'll see!

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: It works as intended.

Cons: Can be a little quite but has the feature for headphones

Other Thoughts: Hope it last! (Works with Trendnet cable tester, this could be why it is quite)

4 out of 5 eggsWorks good

Pros: Does the job fairly well, it's not as good as a fluke, but at this price it's a great deal.

Cons: I always end up stealing a co-workers fluke to do jobs that require me working on a 66 block.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend it for anyone who is wiring their own home, or small business themselves. It gets the job done, it's not "cheap" by any means, just the blade could be slightly better. However, at the price point it's a great value.

I only do some terminations here and there, I install phone systems so this fits the bill perfectly for me.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Punchdown Tool

Pros: It has a very good spring in it, when it is set to high, the blade was very sharp(untill you punch down alot, but that's metal for you) Better than other punchdown tools I have used.

Cons: It seems when you start to punchdown (halfway through a 25 pair) it will switch from high spring setting, to low spring setting.

Other Thoughts: I used it almost everyday, doing multiple punchdowns, on multiple racks. Cabling class.... lol

4 out of 5 eggsEasy to use, nice and solid

Pros: - Solid construction.
- Easy to use.
- Can't beat the price.

Cons: - On low impact setting, often required multiple strikes to cut wire off.
- I think I would have preferred a spare 66 blade to a Krone.

Other Thoughts: Worked great for my SOHO in new construction. I'd buy one again but expect this one will last me forever. I'm sure there are better tools available but for occasional use this one is great.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I seriously doubt you'll get a better tool for the pirce. Solid construction, I had no problem installing CAT 6.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I pick this up for personal use. My major concern prior to purchase was how well it would work for a CAT 6 install. Completed the entire process with ease using this punch down tool. Should have picked this up and done the job earlier.
