The Nexus LOW-7000 R2 cooler combines some of the most advanced technologies in the market used for CPU coolers. Heatpipes, HOC Technology, SkiveTek and ultra-thin fins combined with a real silent 12cm PWM controlled fan deliver ultimate performance which has never been this quiet before.

Heatpipe-On-Core TechnologyNexus has the 4 x 6mm heatpipes in direct contact with the CPU core chipset, which allows the heatpipes to absorb the heat from the CPU directly without a base plate interfering with heat transfer. This provides the best possible dissipation possible for the ultimate cooling performance.
SkiveTek Heatsink TechnologyThe SkiveTek concept permits the production of heatsinks with a precise and super fine detail. With SkiveTek, a heatsink with a baseplate and fins are constructed out of one piece of pure aluminum or copper. This is done by cutting the material in thin layers, ending the fins in place. No bonding, welding, soldering or adhesive is involved; the joint between fin and base is continuous aluminum or copper.
PWM Controlled FanThe 120mm fan is PWM controlled and the speed can vary between 500 and 2000 RPM creating a noise-output of an inaudible 15 dB(A) up till a still truly quiet 24 dB(A).
