Pros:
2 of them seem to be working. 2/3 = 67% success rate, thus 3 stars, however, the downtime, the debugging time and the extra shipping charges, and the time spent tracking down the shipper force me to deduct another star.
Cons:
Sent drive that was DOA. Now must eat shipping charges. Can't install RAID (and thus my server) because only have 2 working drives.
Overall Review:
Ordered 3 WD2500AAKS, one was defective - DOA. 1: BIOS indicates drive is defective. 2: Continued debugging by installing 2 identical drives into exact same setup, 2 worked, 1 did not. Setup was in non-raid mode to simply debugging. Used same power cable and same SATA cable in all three drives. Only variable was the drive.
