Pros:
It has a really good campaign mode ANDonline multiplayer( didn't say the online multiplayer was good, no servers). Has all the features of the original...and all the cons. It also has cons *exclusive for the wii*.
This is my second review after 2 weeks of owning it. I've changed my mind a *little since I wrote "Best Wii game ever". Then again it could be when you compare all the other games........
Cons:
Ok the original version had a few things I really didn't like....add that in with the Nintendo's Wii's own line of problems....I dont' even know where to start.
First of all, this games controls are HORRIBLE. If you're like me and like quickscoping or sniping at all, dont' expect any of that on this version. The dead zones allow you to make a box, and if you point outside the box your camera moves in that direction. So if your one inch away from the edge of the dead box, you won't move. As soon as your out of it, you can do a full 180 spin depending on your senstivity. You have no options to keep the crosshair in the middle of the screen so your gun turns and you don't. It's almost impossible to make a combination of settings that will make this game even feasible for sniping.
The graphics on the Wii....are bad. 720x640 with every single thing that made the original game stick out from all the other versions are gone. THE WORST PART OF ALL-
Overall Review:
When you zoom in with a sniper scope, you lag. When your standing still, it takes a good second to get a zoom in, then it lags. Are you kidding me?????
Nintendo Wi-Fi is bad. Even if you have the wired Wii adapter, it has problems, obviosly on Nintendo's side. You can take a random drag shot and see the guy hit the ground 3 secs later. You can take a dead on shot and hit nothing.
THEN there's the original COD's problems. This game is all about spraying and perks. Get a light machine gun, stopping power, martydom and a pair of rockets. The rockets didn't hit your target? It's ok you can spray him with a 300 round shot. Still didn't do it? Wow...at least you drop a live grenade when you die. That outta get him.
The only thing I regret is that Gamestop won't give me cash back.
That's it....I'm never buying a Wii game again. I'm just gonna build my PC and never look back. What was I even thinking expecting a good game for the Wii. I'm just gonna play on my PC in full HD. Peace.
