This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros:
8 SATA ports, good layout, looks great, and included documentation is easy to understand. It worked right out of the box and has been playing nicely with Ubuntu so far.
Cons:
Pay attention to the BIOS settings. It likes to automatically clock things up by default, so I had to disable a few things in order to bring it back down. Normally, I would be all for this idea, but this one is sitting in a file server that doesn't need the extra hardware brawn or heat. Also, Intel's stock heatsink/fan required an alarming amount of force to mount correctly, so be careful.
Overall Review:
Used for my low-energy low-noise home file server running Ubuntu.
