Decent Case for money 01/08/2010
This review is from: APEVIA X-Plorer ATXB8KLW-BL Black/Blue Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros:
It's a nice looking case and the integrated fan control and temperature gauge is a plus. There's a fair amount of space inside and it holds up very well to beatings. Spacing between the cards and the drives is done right, although it might be tight at times. Mine has been on my floor for four years and thus far there are no real problems with it. Fans are set up to draw from front and exhaust out top, back, and sides and the vent is actually located in the right spot for most PCI fans.
Cons:
No HD cooling fans. The holes and the vents are in the metal, but the plastic facade doesn't have any vents. I ended up buying a new fan and Dremeling some vents in after one of my HD's read 150*F. Things are much cooler now. The wiring for the front LED's is also a little cheap, they're beginning to go out on me after several years and there's no easy access to them. The USB ports are upside-down and too close together. There's no space behind the mobo panel to tuck wiring away.
Overall Review:
It's a good case for little money with some pizazz. I think my next case is going to be a bit more expensive and this one is going to some other build, but it's served me well for some time.
