Pros:

* EAX 5 (though it's largely unsupported)
* Cleaner audio than many on-board solutions

Cons:

* Occasionally buggy interface (Audio stops working. Have to restore defaults and reconfigure - Rarely)
* Disconnected interface requiring "mode" switching.
* Known issues with nForce boards THAT IS INCREDIBLY EASY TO FIX IN THE BIOS! (see other thoughts)
* Many developers are moving to audio enhancements "In-Engine" rendering EAX pointless.

Overall Review:

For those who are whining about their nForce boards not working. FIRST DISABLE ON-BOARD AUDIO!

If you bought a sound card, you probably won't need the on-board audio anyway.
