This review is from: G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-2GBNQ
Pros:
lol Pros well I guess it looks good and it ran it the rated timings and speed
Cons:
first off this ram is super slow I don't know this could be called High Performance/Gaming RAM this got the same windows experience rating as my old DDR 400mhz ram a 5.5 now that's just sad when this is 1600mhz ram and as for overclocking good luck I couldn't push it past 1667mhz and even after going to 1300mhz with timings at 6,7,6,16 the ram still got a 5.5 rating
Overall Review:
I changed to mushkin ram after about 2 weeks of tweaking on this ram trying to get better performance out of it and the mushkin ram out performed this G.Skill RAM hands down

Manufacturer Response:
.
Dear Customer
We are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with your G.Skill product. This is only a 2GB kit, so WEI will not be high. The WEI is not an accurate calculation for memory performance. You will need a benchmark program to test actual memory bandwidth.
The new kit you purchased is 4GB, and CL6 instead of CL9, of course the WEI rating would be much higher. It's more than double the price of this kit.
Thank you
