Almost perfect

Pros:
1. Great mids and highs. Able to pick out music detail.
2. Balanced sound.
3. Unobtrusive blue power indicator reminds you to turn it off.
4. Nice and heavy (compared to size) like a quality speaker should be.
5. These are great for vocal music.
Cons:
Lacks bass. Adequate if you are listening to symphony. Not enough bass articulation if you are listening to say progressive rock (double bass drum passes, floor toms). However it is NOT muddled. Just not pronounced enough.
You can add a quality sub turned down low and these would be perfect. Something like a Yamaha, iKey, etc. But that would increase total cost.
Overall Review:
Keep in mind these are suppose to be for monitoring audio while editing and hence will have a flat frequency response.
