Great Motherboard 06/02/2011
This review is from: ASUS P8P67-M (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros:
I am impressed with the quality of this ASUS motherboard. I've tried every socket and feature and everything seems to function perfectly. I'm using an Intel i7-2600K and enjoying the performance with the factory default settings.
Cons:
Boots twice when overclocked. Perhaps a BIOS upgrade will fix this problem. Also, Windows 7 Sleep mode doesn't work when the system is overclocked. I've gone back to the default settings.
I like the mouse driven BIOS interface.
Overall Review:
I've assembled two ASUS motherboards this month and both worked well. I'm dissapointed that I read that some users have had problems; however, assembling a motherboard and a computer requires careful attention to detail and a fair amount of skill. Sometimes it is the user that is at fault. A thorough read of the manual is often very helpful.
