This review is from: XFX Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Video Card HD-657X-ZHF2
Pros:
For an entry level card, this thing exceeds all across the board. Easy install, no clearance issues here at all. Stays cool even under almost full load, and is almost completely quite. ( I can't hear it with my 2 case fans running ) Doesn't need additional power.
Cons:
None so far, have put it to the test and it has never missed a beat
Overall Review:
Perfect for someone upgrading from integrated graphics, most machines will be limited by their processor before this card not having enough punch becomes an issue. Here are some games I have run with this card and it doesn't disappoint
Specs -
- 2.1 MHz dual core CPU
- 3 gigs of DDR2 667
- 530w PSU
- 1440 x 900 resolution
World of Warcraft - High / Ultra 45 - 60 fps (depending on zone )
Call of Duty 4 - Max - 45 - 60 fps
Dirt 2 - Max - 35 - 60 fps
Left 4 Dead 2 - Max - 40 - 60 fps
Batman Arkham Asylum - Max - 35 - 55 fps
Borderlands - Max - 30 - 60 fps
Battlefield 2 - Max - 55 - 60 fps
With 2 case fans (one side and one exhaust ) this thing has yet to go above 60 degrees Celsius at 40% fan speed, even after hours of playing Dirt 2 on Max settings. Plan on testing with Starcraft II and Crysis. Will update.
