It Works 03/04/2012
This review is from: CORSAIR CX Series CX500 500W 80 PLUS BRONZE Active PFC ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply
Pros:
It works even with my Gigabyte 560 Ti 448 core that lists 550w as a minimum requirement. Tested under stress of memtest and many hours of BF3 on Ultra. After one week, so far so good.
Cables were long enough to wrap behind the mobo plate to keep the interior of my case clean, although a couple were just barely long enough.
System specs:
BIOSTAR TA870U3+
AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz
Gigabyte 560 Ti 448 core
G.Skill Ripjaw 1333 2x4GB
Lite-On DVD-RW
Edimax PCI Wireless N Card
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
Cons:
Not Corsair's fault, but Newegg took over a week just to process my order, let alone ship, so I didn't have time to submit the rebate. Buyer beware... don't depend on the rebate for making your decision.
Overall Review:
Have only had it a week but I've stressed it under full load for many hours of BF3 on Ultra and memtest.
