Pros:

Western Digital has always been a great product to own and even better with the price...

Cons:

BUT!!! I bought two of these. And just after one year, I set down at my computer and smell something burning. Checked throughout the house nothing. Came back computer is off. UH OH!!! Wouldnt turn back on unplugged, plugged back up hit the power, poof came on and i caught a glimps of a flash. did some checking and found the spark was being generated by my secondary hard drive. So dead in the water i thought okay I can deal with this. Save money and get another one. THINGS HAPPEN! But then 2 weeks later my other hard drive. EXACT SAME ONE i bought both at same time of building my computer. IT DIED! JUST POOF!! NOTHING!!! So now im stuck with two paperweights while im stuck using a 80gb IDE hdd until i can afford to get another SATA! Thanks WD!

Overall Review:

Look I am not bashing WD. I am sure this is just a bad part. But come on both of my hard drives? Really? Called Tech Support and got such BAD BAD HORRIBLE ASSISTANCE! Guy acted like i didnt know what i was talking about or doing. Asking me if I was sure I hooked it up right. COME ON!!!

WD I respect you guys and I will probably most likely buy from you guys again when replacing the hard drives that just fried. Like I said accidents happen. But if those go out too you will have just lost a very loyal customer!
