Not too shabby 07/15/2012
This review is from: SanDisk Mobile Ultra 32GB microSDHC Flash Card Model SDSDQUA-032G-A11A
Pros:
* Came with a mini usb card reader (unexpected)
* Class 10 speeds (more under other thoughts)
For people who say this is not as advertised, you have to read what you are buying. The packaging clearly says "up to" 30 MB/s" and never guaranteed it. Sequential read and write speeds are good enough for the Class 10. I bought this for my new Galaxy S3.
Cons:
* Expensive compared to other micro sd's, regardless of UHS speed
* Sandisk in general is more expensive than other brands
* Was kind of a let down to see these type of results, but speeds are as "advertised"
For a UHS, I would think it'd be faster.
Even on Galaxy S3, it showed similar speeds: see Other thoughts.
Overall Review:
*CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 Test*
Average sequential read speed: 21.5 MB/s
Average sequential write speed: 11.7 MB/s
Average random read 512KB: 21.1 MB/s
Average random write 512KB: 5.3 MB/s
I averaged this result with a total of 4 tests: Using USB Card Reader and With SD Card Adapter for both 50MB and 1GB. I've verified this by moving files myself from and to this card. A 701 MB file took a minute to transfer to and 30 seconds from the card. On the Galaxy S3 with Antutu Benchmark:
SD card write: 14.2 MB/s (142 (score)) and SD card read: 21.0 MB/s (190).
