Good DVR - better support

Pros:
Purchased the DVR as a replacement for a previous 4 channel with the idea or reusing cameras and cabling. The old DVR was having trouble recording videos with motion (once motion was detected I would be missing 30 seconds of it).
The vonnic DVR does not have any of these problems. I set it to record only motioned detected videos and it saves a lot of hdd space (that is versus recording 24 hrs). The quality of all channels in D1 is fine, as well as the phone monitoring. I like the ftp option as other dvrs I have worked with are only capable of sending a picture via email. Vonnic uploads a video to an ftp server. DDNS is also useful. The PC based monitoring software is a bit awkward, but after a few usages it becomes a little more user friendly. I also like the NTP server (it goes online and pulls the time from internet).
Cons:
The DVR came with a defective power supply. I figured it put after trying the power supply from the old DVR I was replacing. The defect was visible in the image. The power supply would turn on the machine and spin the hard disk, but the hard disk would give random write errors, and the image had a lot of noise (horizontal lines running up and down). I contacted vonnic from the link on their site, and they are shipping a new power supply (on the same day).
I also contacted them before to ask questions related to new firmwares and support option. They replied very quickly and updated their website. 5 eggs to VONNIC for their support. After all, what good is a product without good support. ;)

I would recommend this 4 ch dvr to anyone.
