Pros:
Better then SATA II performance = more then fast enough.
Low price
Reliable company
Solid build quality
Cons:
Not as fast as other SATA III drives.
Bad reviews because of old firmware drivers.
Overall Review:
The majority of the negative reviews of this drive model are of the 64 & 128 GB models. The 256 has a 5 star. The reason why these have a bad rap is that their was a bug in their firmware that made the drive write very slowly near the beginning of 2012. It was a software bug and they fixed it as soon as they found out about it. My drive shipped with the new firmware and works as specified so don't listen to any of the reviews about this drive being slow because its not.
You can't beat the price on this model. Unless your observed with speed, this drive is plenty fast enough. If you only have have SATA II, you wouldn't be able to get any faster.
