Pros:

This power supply is very quiet and efficient for lower power systems, but it holds enough in reserve to run a pretty solid rack of hardware.

Cons:

Can't think of any.

Overall Review:

I chose this PS as a replacement to a 10 year old 350W supply made before 80 Plus ratings and power factor correction were common specifications. Without making any other system changes, I measured performance back to back with the old supply and found that with my system being always on, the cost savings at current rates is about $10/year. So with a sale price and rebate, this power supply actually pays for itself in under 3 years with the money saved.

Older non-PFC supply consumption at idle: 75W with a PFC of just 0.61.

Silencer consumption at idle: 62W @ 0.98 PFC.

The numbers are even better at higher load.

Bottom line: If you don't need more power but your existing supply is not 80 Plus, this PSU will save you money.

It is also best not to buy a PSU that is significantly oversized beyond your needs, as despite the 80 Plus ratings, efficiency actually drops. (Like driving a dump truck around just to move a TV.)
