Pros:
Turns on
Cons:
If just turning on was enough, then I would give this product 5 eggs but it makes a ticking sound that can be heard across the room that can be heard even over the case fans. The funny thing is the sound is emitted when the PSU fan is not spinning; when the fan kicks in, the sound goes away until the fan stops spinning again. The sound is distracting but otherwise still powers my PC.
Overall Review:
I've got several other Corsair PSUs (HX, TX & CX) which I never had any issues with (or noises), this was my first GS series model. This is my second run in with poor quality control from Corsair in this recent build that has turned me off; I can't trust their quality going forward and will turn to other vendors for cases, PSUs and memory. Their customer service was no help - what a shame...
