Not Bootable

Pros:
FAST, WOW fast, 143MB/sec sustained for an entire 22.6GB copy. (HP Envy 15 with Intel 520 SSD)
Cons:
Not bootable. Try as I might I cannot get anything UEFI or otherwise to see this drive as bootable, even the MS USB Image tool wont see the drive as a bootable USB drive, I've tried NTFS, FAT32, GPT and MBR style partitions, it appears that the device isn't flagged as a USB drive, but it isn't flagged as a hard drive either, no BIOS will show it in the list of bootable drives. Very irritating.
