Great Super Video Card 07/22/2013
This review is from: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6970 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100311-3L
Pros:
lightning fast, cools well, good looking, not the loudest thing in the world, was VERY cheap, clocks all the way to 900mhz while being undervolted, just when I needed it.
Cons:
it is a old card it's about to be, (it probably will be by the time you read this) two gens before. Requires a lot of power, it does get a little warmer than what I want it to be 71~76 while 100% load mining. But I only mine like 5 mins a day :p. I did need to buy a new power supply because it was too weak.
Overall Review:
What I said about it being a little bit too warm, I don't really care because in game the maximum it gets is about 63c. Very nice temps. What's really weird is that after I OC'd to 900mhz the temps actually were brought down. never had this kind of experience before, but faster, cooler the better right?
