Great printer but.....

Pros:
Excellent print quality: setup panel covers almost every imaginable combination of paper and print options: silent: works find with USB 2.0: automatic black ink selection.
Cons:
Expensive ink ($500 for a full set of cartridges): took 37% of the factory-supplied cartridge set to "charge" the printer.
When printing from Photoshop CS5 (or 4 or 6), you are likely to get a message "The saved printer is not compatible with this version Photoshop..." If you get this message, or if nothing happens when you click "Print," you will be in a world of hurt, There is apparently no true, simply, solution to this problem, which appears to be an Adobe bug compounded by Epson's firmware.
And this too: as the other reviewer noted, the printer's LCD messages were clearly written by someone who isn't a native English speaker.
Overall Review:
This is probably the best printer out there in the advanced amateur/low-end pro range. If I could print problem-free I'd give it six stars, but it's being quite a hassle.
