This review is from: XION XON-720P mATX/ ITX Slim Desktop Case, USB 3.0, 5 in 1 Card-reader, 300W PSU, Black_Retail
Pros:
I have built over a half dozen system for clients with these cases. For the price, you cannot match them anywhere. I was just doing a build with an SSD and an HDD and was planning on rigging the SSD somewhere inside, then noticed that now there are prongs protruding from the bottom of the ODD cage, which fit a 2.5" drive perfectly! Couldn't be happier. USB 3.0, card reader, and a power supply for less than $40 in a slim form factor? Perfect HTPC case!
Cons:
Too bad you have to mount it vertical on the feet, but that's how it's so slim. Cheap, thin steel, but that's why it's so inexpensive. I had a bear of a time getting the SSD to stay connected while putting the case together, you can't use an angled connector if there is an HDD installed underneath.
Overall Review:
I hope Newegg carries these for some time, they are hard to beat. I don't use the fan, but would recommend springing for a nice quiet one if you need more cooling. The arrow that says where to screw in the ODD is always wrong, I go 1 from the back. Recommend installing the SSD label down to ease removal of the connector. Use the cable guid on the tope of the drive cage to keep the usb cables out of the way of the PSU fan intake. With the proper cable management, this is just about my favorite case for petite PCs
