No easy way to ground the mat

Pros:
Large working surface, good materials
Cons:
Most ESD mats have a connector that allows you to plug in a ground wire as well as a wrist strap. This one does not. It only comes with one alligator clip connector. In order to be securely grounded, there should be one connection for a wrist strap and one for a ground wire.
