Yes, easy to set up and it will work -- momentarily. Constantly dropping the signal, just like everyone here says. A big pain in the rear.

I apologize for the overall frustration this has caused. Just for your reference that wireless devices won’t necessarily switch connection to TEW-713RE even at a closer distance when they still can maintain connection to wireless router/AP in range. Under this situation, connections are prone to disconnect because of weaker signal due to possible interference from a farther distance. So, I would suggest to install InSSIDer on your device and verify if the range extender or access point SSID is connected as indicated by a blue star icon. If devices still experience disconnect when connecting to TEW-713RE, please email me directly at adrian@trendnet.com with "Newegg TEW-713RE Review" in the subject line and I will be able to assist you immediately to resolve this issue.
