I'm using a pair of these on an Asus Z8NR-D12 server motherboard and it fits like it was made specifically for it. Installation was a breeze as you cannot tighten it too much with the built-in stops. Cooler hardly gets warm strapped to an E5520 Xeon cpu. I read the other reviews and yes, if you hook this cooler to a (constant) +12v source, it DOES sound like a jet engine (and moves a TON of air for it's size). With the Intel cooling management enabled it runs whisper quiet.
