Pros:
It move a lot of air in an efficient manner.
It's PWM.
Comes with vibration dampeners.
Cons:
The "long life doesn't last very long.
Overall Review:
It wouldn't be too bad of a product overall, but the ideally functional product life is unreasonably short.
The noise seems to be caused by the interaction of the electromagnet driving the fan and the ceramic magnet ring attached to the fan blade. Perhaps the electromagnet is becoming magnetized in it's typical use.
I wonder if I could take the fan-blade unit and attach it to another, more stable, driving unit.
