This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GT 640 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card ZT-60208-10L
Pros:
Replaced HD4830 which used 110 watts. This is the Nvidia GK208 core with gddr5 which runs faster than original GT640. Reviews say its very cool and efficient- only about 40 watts. My case temp is down and so is my electric bill. 3Dvantage benchmark improved by 50% over HD4830.
The other card upgraded a dual core AMD system with 350 watt PSU. Very small card which uses very little juice.
Cons:
Price a little higher than radeon competitors.
Overall Review:
Zotac Firestorm utility overclocks and adjusts fan speeds. I'm running core at 1151, mem at 1298. Content with mild overclock, have not pushed it to the limit at all. Good watt vs performance ratio.
