Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit OS-OEM 02/28/2014
This review is from: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit
Pros:
--Most used and standard OS known
--Easy to use and understand
--Simple Install
Cons:
--Doesn't come with Microsoft Word
--Quite a lot of updates if you're not going with Windows 8.1
Overall Review:
Was going to buy Windows 8.1 for my new I-7 4770k build, but after watching tutorials on Windows 8.1, I decided to purchase a new Windows 7 OS for my new PC build.
Reasons why I stayed with Windows 7:
--- Have to buy a touch-screen Monitor to fully experience Windows 8.1 what it was intended to do.
---Really new concepts and confusing features to use if you're really used to the standard Windows OS's of the past (like me).
---Almost everything in Windows 8.1 must be bought for copyright laws. Missed the old days when everything came with buying an operating system.
I really like Windows 8.1, but I want a simple OS to use. Not to mention the fact that I got lost half-way through the tutorials on Windows 8.1. Buy Windows 8.1 if you have a touch-screen monitor and time to learn. Otherwise, be the majority of OS users that stayed with Windows 7 or Linux.
