This review is from: Thermaltake Toughpower XT TPX-1275M 1275 W ATX 12V 2.3 & SSI EPS 12V 2.92 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
Pros:
Powerful, 1275W of peak power. Semi-modular. Lots of power options.
Cons:
Out of 12 or 15 installed in regular builds, about 6 have failed already. By "fail" I mean they either don't provide enough power when 4 RAM slots are populated, causing the computer as a whole to not even POST. It's really hit or miss with them, which is extremely frustrating seeing as we have to burn through them at an alarming rate. This horribly affects productivity and costs US time and money to get replacements.
Overall Review:
If possible, you should stay away from this one. We have 850W Seasonic PSUs on hand, and although they don't provide the same peak wattage, they have yet to fail on us.
