This review is from: LOGITECH G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse #910-004074

Pros:

This is simply the most accurate mouse ever made. It's extremely comfortable and easy to set the weight just right for your use.

I love Logitech's software and was simply amazed at the accuracy and quality of the build.

I've owned the G500s which I dropped for the Roccat Kone XTD, which was my favorite mouse ever until this G502 came along. The XTD was awesome due to the very solid accuracy and zero accel, but the G502 smokes it.

After using a script I copied from the Logitech forums, I was able to map my DPI drop to the right-click, so when I am in BF4, for example, it auto-drops my DPI from my default 3400 to about 1600, making zoomed aiming a breeze.

Cons:

I have yet to find anything I don't like about this mouse.

Overall Review:

First off, please let me say not to listen at all to MichaelR, especially if you're a "competitive FPS player". This guy is full of #$%#.

No competitive or even competent FPS player lifts their mouse when playing. That's what higher DPI is for.

If you bought a 12,000 DPI mouse and you're still lifting it off the mat to turn, you clearly don't understand the value of higher DPI.

Aside from that, mouse are not designed to be lifted up; by their very nature, they function by making surface contact.

If you are playing FPS and can't turn 90 degrees right to 180 degrees left and back without lifting the mouse up to return it to the starting position, then you're DPI is too low.
