This review is from: RAZER DeathStalker Ultimate Smart Gaming Keyboard
Pros:
The design of the keyboard is creative. I like that you can program settings into it as well as change the color of the backlighting; but, that is the limits as far as this keyboard goes beyond being interesting for me. The main attraction was the SwitchBlade UI; but, I'll get to why that turns out to be more of a gimmick than a perk.
Cons:
The major failure of this keyboard is the Switchblade UI. Why is this such a horrible blunder for so many users? Because the Razor Synapse 2.0 is the buggiest, flakiest software available on the web. It is so destructive, that my antivirus program marked it as a malicious software during an update and disabled it. It has even been so corrupt that it has disabled the USB and P2 support on my computer. I had to do windows recovery to restore those functions on my system. I went back and uninstalled the Synapse software, then reinstalled it again. Than I began to realize that the Switchblade UI was no glitchier than ever. If I hit anything on the UI it would glitch the displayed screen out, this means that the UI is virtually useless. So you have half a keyboard that you cannot do anything with.
Overall Review:
I cannot in good conscious recommend this to any human being that I liked or disliked. It is putting money into the pockets of individuals who love shoving things out on to the market without properly testing it. This is very apparent with the notoriously buggy Synapse 2.0 software that you need to load the flaky UI. Avoid anything that needs that software to run, it is a death sentence for your hardware.
